I can't stop thinking about this show...it was so much fun!

As far as the view, I saw everything...the $41.25 price was worth every penny I paid...and yes, those are the least expensive seats for that show.

I don't think there is rush, but there will likely be SRO after opening.

Did Ariel wear a wedding dress in the finale?? I think she didn't in Denver, or did she?

"In theater, the process of it is the experience. Everyone goes through the process, and everyone has the experience together. It doesn't last - only in people's memories and in their hearts. That's the beauty and sadness of it. But that's life - beauty and the sadness. And that is why theater is life." Sherie Rene Scott

Thus sealing her status as one of the Disney Princesses.

These comments are really exciting! Can't wait to see it on Wednesday.

I was at the show last night, and it was totally amazing in every respect... the cast, the sets, the costumes... and the amazing lighting... we were in the front mezzanine, and you really could get a good view of the set. I wouldn't want to be too close for this show.

I already have my seats for my seats on November 27! I can't wait!

Oh dear, I just saw the Part of Your World clip. Please tell me that Ariel's cave has improved since Denver. It looks like she's in an underwater playground.

And the whole rollerskates thing is clumsy. You don't get any sense of her claustrophobia like you do in the film.

That being said, she's got a killer set of pipes.

The morning star always gets wonderful bright the minute before it has to go --doesn't it?

I bought tickets for two more dates last night (Nov 29 and Dec 19) and may buy another ticket for January with some coworkers. I'm going to be obsessing about this show as well!

<< Wow Testing! Any Darfur engagements for this one? >>

Nah, thats strictly reserved for "Xanadu" and my love and admiration for Kerry Butler.

Sorry - grotto, not cave. mea culpa. I'm not judging the entire show by this one video clip, but that grotto isn't exactly Disney fantastic. And the song is supposed to represent her feeling trapped in the underwater world - visually, it doesn't really illustrate the tension between the world above and the world she's used to.

Meh, it's all good. It's early in the run. I'm seeing it in a few months, I'll post an actual review then re: THE LITTLE MERMAID - First Preview - 11/3/07

Oy! That tail extension is quite short. They should have made it proportionate to the actual length of her real legs. Her upper body size doesn't match that little tail of hers.

<< What does Sebastian's costume look like?
>>

Its kind of plain--- red suit with a tophat, with big bulging eyes. However, Tituss Burgess is SO good, that after awhile, he IS Sebastian, and you forget about any shortcomings that the costume might have.

In Denver when I saw it, Ariel didn't turn back into a mermaid at all during Act 2. Did they change that?

I am so happy that there are finally some positive reviews on this board. I was about ready to rip my hair out with all of the negativity over a show that most of these people haven't even seen. IMHO, the show was incredible.

Is Ariel's wedding dress extravagant like the Belle dress? Also, is the wedding at the end more like the Disney movie?

I'm seeing it on thurday, and i'm really looking forward to it. Even though, the skirts that they've used to cover the legs so break my heart.
