Politics is a tad different than theater.

That statement re political posts is totally non sensical.

It was available on a papering service last week, but appears to be gone now.

How much is it on TDF? And better yet, anyone got a hook-up for comps? :) I'm bad

What a GREAT way to support a show, try to get tickets for as little as possible.

I first read Mr. Roxy's post as Non Seussical! Bwhaha!

NGD2225: I don't need to tell you we're in a recession. I also don't need to tell you I (like many other NYC young theatre-goers) live on a student budget. I don't need to tell you ATOTC would prefer some money rather than none. And I don't need to tell you not supporting a show means not attending. Lastly, I don't need to tell you that if tickets are available via papering or TDF, then it's expected people buy them.

Back up, inhale, and embrace the weekend. My weekend plans? To hopefully see this show.

NGD, it's closing anyway. No need to worry about cheating the show out of support anymore.

I actually find Theatre and Politics to run on similar veins. Not terribly different at all: they are all communicating their message, all acting "the part" and all out to make a buck.

Of course the big difference is when either fail: theatre failing only hurts the producers and those left without a paycheck; politics failing affects so many more folks.

I love both.

So I'm guessing I shouldn't see it this weekend before it goes? Is it not worth my time and money?

The final performance, I believe, is at 3:00 PM, because that is the last ticket available on Telecharge.

The final 3 performances are also on TDF.

Eugene: I say it is definitely worth the approximately $38 to see this show through tdf. You'll regret it if you miss this one. Sunday will be my fifth time...and I'm looking forward to it.

"So I'm guessing I shouldn't see it this weekend before it goes? Is it not worth my time and money?"

This seems like one of those shows that you either love or hate, and with such polarized results, it would be difficult to gauge how your opinions would fall on the spectrum. So I would advise you to go see the show this weekend, otherwise you may end up regretting it.

Alberto: You are correct in that I'll regret not having seen this one. Not because I anticipate liking it... but because I try to see everything on the boards so that I may have an informed-opinion come awards-season.

I see it on TDF right now for $38. I'm curious though if the box-office still offers $27 student rush (may grab one for tomorrow night)

I'm in the city tomorrow, but am booked for both matinee and evening shows. I'm REALLY sorry I let this one slip by, basically because of the fantastic reception Barbour has had in it. Thirty lashes for me, I guess.

My avatar is the epitome of hotness...Matt Morrison and Jerry Mitchell with their abs exposed looking very cozy...the ultimate father/son roleplay. re: 'Tale Of Two Cities' Closes this Sunday, 9th Nov -OFFICIAL!

WOAT: love your avatar.

Eugloven: I went last night and got student rush for $27 and sat Row O on house right. great seats. good luck with getting them.

I say if you have a chance to see it, please do and then voice your opinion. It useless unless you have evidence to back up why you hate it or love it.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel.

Sadly, no. I'm going to LA next week on Monday, so a seven hour drive to NYC and sevne hours back the day before my flight would not be good.

Next time I'm in NYC I'll let you know tho.
