Hey all,
I bought a ticket a few days ago on Telecharge to see Jagged Little Pill in November. I spent $299 on it, and I just went and looked at their site and all the prices have dropped... the seat next to the one I bought is now only $169. Do you know if they will reimburse me for the difference? Normally I wouldn't care but that is a pretty significant change.
Doubtful...but you could certainly try...I know I would!
You can try one of two things: explain the situation, and they might let you purchase the $169 seat, then refund you the $299 one, or, you can come up with a reason why you can't make the show at all, and they might refund you the $299 seat outright, allowing you to purchase the cheaper seat after. I'm not saying that either will work, but they can be quite accommodating.
FYI, there was a content warning for the Boston production that isn't to be found anywhere on Telecharge:
"This production contains content that some audience members may find distressing: strong language, drug use and abuse, and sexual violence."
I doubt it, too. It wouldn’t hurt to try, though. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child used to offer reimbursements if you came across cheaper tickets, but, too many people took advantage of that policy and now they don’t offer refunds or exchanges anymore.

As others have said, I doubt it but certainly worth making the phone call to know for sure. Though, in total fairness, ask yourself the question, if instead of going down to $169, the price had gone up to $349. Would you be calling them to offer to pay the extra $50? Prices often fluctuate on things like this after you buy them. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. It's just the way it goes.
I would give it a try. I called on friday to change a seat location for The Inheritance and they were accommodating and very helpful. Good luck!
