Some aren't critics, but you get the point.
I am just SHOCKED that Wayman Wong predicts Memphis for Best Musical and Glover for Best Actress. The

How sad is it that MEMPHIS looks like it might be the big winner of the night? I mean it has Best Musical, Best Book and Best Score in the bag, and it has a really good chance at Lead Actress, ugh.

I'm pretty sure David Bryan is insane. Have you seen the tony awards unplugged with him singing and playing. And the crazy riffing.

If you had told me I'd be rooting for Memphis to win a few months ago I wouldn't have believed you. But the truth is that it is the only new musical, and has a great score and wonderful actors/singers/dancers in it.
It is truly the best show out of the 4 nominees. A weak season for sure.

Insane? Bec.of the way he sang it? lol

If you ask me: he deserves getting some Awards on Sunday.

He is the hell of a musician! (and a very nice and humble person!)

Why did this turn into a David Bryan thread?

Wow. I just realized if all these predictions were correct, FELA would walk away empty handed and MEMPHIS would take, what, FIVE awards?

This season, I tell ya...

Actually, if all of these were correct, FELA would be getting Best Choreography. It's not much, but it isn't empty handed.

Looking at the musical predictions, you realize what a horrible year this has been.

The worst crime of all might be the fact that Memphis will win Best Book for that cliched piece of crap.

I am shocked by the Featured Actor in a Musical predictions. Not one for Steggert or Fitzgerald. After Chris won the Drama Desk, I would have guessed a few critics would have predicted him. Instead, there is an overwhelming belief that Levi will win. I'm shocked.

David Bryan, while maybe being insane, is indeed one hell of a musician. I'm happy he's finally landed on Broadway.

I hope Levi Kreis does win the Tony. He is tremendously talented and electrifying in Million Dollar Quartet, granted I'm only speaking from the videos. On a side note, check out his album, it is amazing.

It is hard to believe... I understand score, or even Musical. But Book? Really? Just give that to RAPTURE, or even FELA, so Bill T. Jones can win something. (FELA's book is it's weakest link, admittingly.)

Best Book never goes to the rightful winner. The last time a musical that deserved the Best Book Tony won, Spelling Bee took home the award.

False. The Drowsy Chaperone in 2006.

I really don't like the Drowsy book. I thought it should have gone to Jersey Boys. But even if you argue that the last time was Drowsy, that's 2006 instead of 2005. 2007 Spring Awakening over Grey Gardens, 2008 Passing Strange over Xanadu, and 2009 Billy Elliot over [title of show]... the last 3 years the award has still gone to the wrong person.

At least Best Actor in a Play and Best Actress in a Musical are both tight races this year. Arguably, other categories as well.

Despite a "weak" season, the awards show should be a bit more exciting than, say, in a "sweep" year, like The Producers.

Regardless, I'm sure some people will find plenty to bitch about. It's either "How predictable!" or "I can't believe she won!" They're either pissed that it's a boring show, because everyone they thought would win did, or they're shocked and disappointed that their choices were overlooked (also known as a "shut out" around here).

I'm looking forward to watching the show. Both on TV and on the boards.
