Isn't Three Tall Women a revival? I know it hasn't been on Broadway before, but doesn't the classic rule apply here? I could be wrong

You're totally right. I was going by the article's phrasing: bringing it to Broadway "for the first time." But I agree, it'll likely be ruled a revival. Changing it now!
BTW way, Concierge, thanks for this thread.
My pleasure, dramamama! Appreciate it.

Adding my thanks to Concierge for this thread. Delurking to share something that may complement Concierge's list. I maintain a list of shows that are playing and coming up at all Broadway theaters: http://www.broadwaynowandnext.com/. For 2017-2018, Concierge's list is more comprehensive because I add shows only when the theater is confirmed. This is a simple page I did for fun as part of learning how to code (and I maintain it for fun just because I like to track shows this way). Hope some people find it useful.

Thanks, cali8! This is so helpful.
Posting here to say that Escape to Margaritaville is looking confirmed, but isn't officially yet. I'll update the list with it once it is (via a press announcement), which will likely be in the coming days.
Thank goodness for The Band's Visit for next season. Otherwise any new musicals look like garbage right now. Frozen, Margaritaville, Spongebob, Mean Girls, The Honeymooners.

We haven't seen a single moment of most of these shows (some of which also haven't been confirmed for the season), but they're garbage?
Margaritaville, Spongebob & Mean Girls didn't exactly get good reviews in their out-of-town tryout. Frozen & The Honeymooners are still to be seen.

Mean Girls hasn't even had it's out of town tryout yet.

The Honeymooners has its world premiere at Paper Mill this fall. I doubt it'll make the transfer next season. Maybe in the 2018/19 season.

Mean Girls has not had a performance yet, so not sure where you got that from.
Margaritaville got 3 reviews, as far as I can find, and 2 were positive. Reviews for Spongebob were also more positive than negative.
You may not be excited by what may be coming this season, but that doesn't make the shows garbage.
Does anyone think Hadestown may make a spring transfer or do you think that it may want to avoid the competition from The Band's Visit?
Aside from The Band's Visit, the 2017-18 confirmed (or mostly confirmed) new musicals are a bit underwhelming, IMO. We have a jukebox musical and two commercial movie to musical shows. Not what I would consider to be a great season. Hopefully we'll see Hadestown and Bunuel sneak in during the spring to spice it up a little bit.
The musical revivals are really where it gets interesting. Once on this Island, Carousel, and My Fair Lady are all great shows that a lot of us have been dying to see come back. I'm truly excited to see all three.
List now updated with Escape to Margaritaville.

Is the production of Children of a Lesser God confirmed to be opening in March still?
Just saw it on Telecharge and remembered the talks about it.

Based on their off-Broadway incarnations, The Band's Visit vs. Hadestown is a race. One has a stronger story and better book. The other has strong and more unique singers and stronger music overall (I thought there were a few weak numbers in The Band's Visit). I admired what The Band's Visit did with a simple story but the production pales next to the flashier Hadestown. Based on this season, shows don't seem concerned about getting out of each other's ways, but I hope Hadestown would take some time to figure out the Orpheus character and wait for their off-Broadway cast to be available.
With Bandstand making the transfer after all, I'm not trying to be in the prediction game anymore.
SpongeBob can be included in this now.

I've been enjoying Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt so I have some hope for Mean Girls. I don't care if it's petty or irrational, but I have no plans to see Frozen until Anna is replaced further down the line. And they certainly won't be hurting because I'm waiting to buy a ticket. Aside from that, they could be good or bad but the other properties just don't interest me. In the game of existing IP, those aren't the names that are going to appeal to me.
Sorry for the delay, y'all, busy day (this gross weather isn't helping things, either!).

Playbill posted a list of all confirmed productions w/dates and theatres, and also included a list of shows that haven't been confirmed, but are likely going to be this or next season:

I'm happy to see Hadestown on the "probably" list – it's a great show and I'd love to see Rachel Chavkin have another crack at Best Direction after Sunday.
