My mistake! Thanks for clarifying
Is Marvin's Room the only thing Roundabout has announced for next season so far? I'm anxious to hear what musical they'll be doing.

Escape to Margaritaville
Yes, absolutely, Dreamgirls and Margaritaville are among a long list of shows that have been heavily rumored for next season! However, neither have announced dates and/or a venue yet, which is what I classify as a "confirmed" production.

Has Once On This Island been confirmed beyond the Variety article? The details still seem vague.

OOTI has set a November 9 first preview and December 3 opening night, which I consider confirmed!
Mean Girls, Hadestown, Here Lies Love, Little Dancer, The Honeymooners, The Band's Visit, Othello, Sweet Charity, Gypsy, Crazy For You, Farinelli and the King.

Literally none of those are confirmed.
When are touring casts generally announced? Dying to know who will be picked in les Miz
^there would likely be a presser when it's finalized. Usually happens about 8-6 weeks before the production is on the road, but of late it has been done fairly early for bigger productions. At least the main leads should be announced soon.
Having said that, this is the wrong thread for that discussion.

The Honeymooners is having its premiere at Paper Mill in Fall 2017, so I highly doubt that will end up on Broadway in the same season.

Roundabout hasn't announced their season yet, but I would expect it in the next week or two.
^ Roundabout has announced four titles: The Last Match, Amy and the Orphans, Skintight and Too Heavy for your Pocket. Wondering what the musical will be.

DramaTeach, those are all off Broadway. We're talking about Broadway.
^ Whoops, sorry!
Mean Girls is essentially confirmed, and will only not be coming to Broadway next season if they are holding out for a specific theater.

Yes, but "essentially confirmed" ≠ confirmed, which is what this thread is about.
What about "The Band's Visit", a new musical adapted from the movie by the same name? Music and lyrics by David Yazbek. It played the Atlantic Theater back in December to rave reviews, including one from Brantley. I heard that it was transferring to Broadway for the 2017-18 season.
There's been no confirmation for The Band's Visit transferring, though I know it was being explored.
Still holding out hope for spongebob, but I'm beginning to think it has been abandoned
We just have the wait and see what happens after the Tonys. What shows survive and which ones don't. Then we will see which houses are going to be vacant next season.

Do people still say "duh"?????
We have to wait and see what happens after the Tonys. Then we will know what happens after the Tonys. Because some people win awards and some don't.
