So, the 2012 non-Equity tour of the Addams Family has yet to launch and I can find no official press information announcing any cast members other than Jesse Sharp as Gomez and KeLeen Snowgren as Morticia, but they have already assembled the cast in full costume for a publicity photoshoot and a commercial.
Clearly, they are in a small venue with a makeshift set and *not* on the set that will be seen on tour. I'm not liking that new Wednesday dress...

How do you know that's not the actual set? Yikes.
Also, the dress doesn't look that different to me. It's just a lighter color. I wouldn't call it new. But, all the costumes look a little "cheaper."

Because Troika purchased the package from the 1st National tour, as they *always* do, and modify it as needed for faster load ins. If you also notice, it looks like an off-Broadway or cabaret space.. and the show has not been staged yet. That's how.

Except that this tour is not being produced by Troika. It is being produced by Phoenix.
Wow. I get this is non-Equity and all but this looks so cheap. I mean cheap-cheap.
Yikes...
The cast has already been posted on the tour website, http://www.tafontour.com/meet-the-family/cast.html
I'll be seeing the first show in New Haven, CT this February ... hope it looks nothing like those pictures!
I'm seeing the show this week - last stop for the equity tour! Glad I am catching it while Sills and Gettelfinger are still in it.
^Unless you're seeing it in the OC it's not because this cast is coming to SCFTA from December 18 to the 30th after it stops in Tempe. Like you I'm eager to see Gettelfinger and Sills and have no desire to see the non-equity production.
I'm seeing it in Tempe on Tuesday night! I'm looking forward to it since I have not seen the show live yet.
Hmm. I think it might be fun to go see closing night of the tour in OC. I might be wrong. But on his FB I think Sills said he is done after OC.
Closing night for the current cast is in Tempe I believe... I know that the current equity cast will be performing in Tempe from December 11-16.
I thought this company ends December 30th in OC. Trying to find info on line. But it is hard to tell because they might just be using old company pics on the OCPAC.ORG site.
I think you're right - Costa Mesa is the last city for equity. It's listed on the current tour site as the last city.
Holy crap, Dr. Jones! Those photos look like they are for a Party City Halloween Costumes mail flyer. Ouch! Even Morticia's wig and costume looks like Halloween offerings from CVS or Walgreens!
^ I thought the exact same thing!
Her wig is atrocious. Maybe they can't afford lace front wigs but come on! They couldn't even scrounge up a decent hard front wig?
I'm pretty sure that's not the full non-Eq cast in those photos. I'm currently on tour with the Uncle Fester that's in the cast and that's definitely not him in the pictures. Many of the cast headshots don't match the people in those photos. They are probably just other actors/models in the costumes for the shoot. That's what they did for the non-Eq Spring Awakening. (The costumes and such, I can't comment on.)

I hope to GOD these pictures & videos are because they're using the current tour's sets and just didn't have access to them yet because Phoenix does REALLY good work with their tours.

If this is what they're putting out on the road then it's just embarrassing.
Official production photos... looks just like the set from the Equity tour except scaled down a bit... http://tafontour.com/media/photos.html
Pugsley looks a little old to me.
So my friend is playing Mel and from the sounds of it, it seems like the show is doing decently well.
I am hearing good things as well. The cast is bringing it.
I saw the final dress rehearsal as well as another performance in New Haven, which was their first stop. I really enjoyed the show! Jennifer Fogarty (who played Wednesday) was a big standout for me ... she had an amazing voice! But the entire cast was on the top of their game and clearly excited to perform. It was a fun show :)
