Here are some of Rick Faugno (Frankie Valli) and Jennifer Evans (Swing) pics...when they did a meet and greet at Borders in SF:
Jennifer was the one who represented the JB Tour in the awarding ceremonies for the most money raised for the easter bonnet competition.

Wow! Those pictures show that L.A. has some really ugly architecture.
You ain't kidding!

antonijan, I would love a wicked playbill! Or a spelling bee one. Let me know how I get one ok. Also I have a few goodies I could send you if you would like. I know you said it was free, but I have a few things you may be interested in. Let me know.
Kathryn....I will ship them together :P
Gobybubble....you got the last wicked one! So no more Wicked! PM me your address.
Anybody have an OBC Jersey Boys Playbill? I would like to trade, buy or get one for free :P Though I will likely see the show in late summer.
Dented146....I have only seen Rick perform once and on his performance, he was amazingly great...specially his falsetto which ranks almost in par with Jarrod Spector and JLY from the OBC.
He also dances very upbeat and he's got a unique energy on stage that gives the character more zest :P
antonijan, I have an OCB playbill, it is not signed though. Do you want it?
Thanks a ton for sending me the playbills!
Kathryn...sure! I would love the Original Jersey Boys Cast Playbill!!!
I will PM you my address :P
Kathryn...would you also like to have a Curran Playbill from the Sherry Cast and the Curran Playbill from the Chicago cast to go with the other 2 or do you have them already?
YES!!! I tried getting one from Erich while the sherry cast was still their and he said he was going to send me one and never did.
I remember this meet & greet! The third photo shows my two sons' heads to the left and right, and we enjoyed chatting with Jennifer and Rick when the Q&A was complete. We were fortunate to watch that cast one last time (until we see them in LA) with Rick leading during a Wed. matinee. Since he had us laughing with his "Joe Pesci" imitation from "Goodfellas", his Frankie Valli portrayal at the Curran was golden! We miss this cast, but enjoy the 2nd tour cast as much. They (Jarrod, John, Steve, Jeremy & Drew) are all excellent actors and hanging out with them before they enter the theatre or after at the stage door is a great way to get to know them and discuss what's up. The 2nd Tour cast is also "must see" and they're as "approachable" as the 1st and Broadway casts!
Mike....when do you guys plan to see them in LA? I want to see the play "Yellow Face" in the coming weeks and if I do...I will try to see JB again :P

I managed to see Rick's Frankie on Sunday night -- my fourth "Frankie." He is a very good actor and does well with the transition from young Frankie to older Frankie. His non-falsetto voice is gorgeous and he hit it out of the ballpark on Can't Take My Eyes Off of You. My only criticism is that his falsetto is too loud in certain parts -- especially during Silhouttes, Sherry, Big Girls Don't Cry and Walk Like a Man. Perhaps the mike was too high because it was better in the second act. The strong falsetto just became a little distracting. I prefer JLY's because it is more subtle and controlled. That being said he did a great job and is a cutie!
What's up "Antonijan"! I guess from the photo at Borders, we are the family of four in front of you. Are you going to Cody's Books in Berkeley on June 10th? 11AM sharp, they will have another meet & greet. Hopefully it will be 2nd tour's "Frankie" alternate. He's as good as the others! I'm interested in one of the LA JB playbills! We might tie an amusement park or SD Zoo trip down south with a JB Ahmanson performance in August. It'll be a surprise for the kids before they get back to school. If you still have the LA JB playbill available, my e-mail address is koalafamily2@yahoo.com. If you e-mail me, I'll give you my snailmail address. Thanks and best regards!
WickedOne2...thanks for sharing your thoughts on JB LA's sunday's show :P
Who else have you seen play the Frankie part? I still haven't seen the broadway cast and I hope to see them along with several understudies/alternate as Frankies :P
So far, I have seen:
Christopher Kale Jones-I like his acting the best and his voice's dynamic and strenght is getting better each time...even the falsetto :P
Rick Faugno-have strong Falsetto but it never bothered me as being too overwhelming and I enjoyed his energy on stage.
Jarrod Spector-His singing is very effortless and comes very natural to the point that sometimes I think he needed to put more into it to make the feelings of the moment come out and convey the powerful story they are sharing.
Maybe I just got used to Chris Jones but it's good to see differences in character interpretation and this saturday...I might see my 4th Frankie in the person of John Michael Dias.
Other Frankie that I would like to see is Michael Longoria
Mike,
I could either mail it to you or give it to you in person at the Cody's but I might have to work that day
PM me your address instead and I will mail it to you.
Ant
Sorry you may not be able to attend, but hopefully next time it would be great to meet other fans of the play at the Q&A sessions. Seems like there may be more public appearances to come since JB is still really huge in SF, and my May 22nd matinee, although not a full house, was as electrifying as a weekend evening performance. Such a small crowd sounding like a packed house! These guys are amazing! Take care and thanks for your consideration!
Mike...I will send the playbills on saturday :P
