Sucks to hear it's official that Deven left the tour. Although all the Tommys I've seen were great, Deven's portrayal was my favorite. But it was floating around for a bit that he was leaving and Erik was going to replace him, but when they updated the cast list I had a feeling that Erik got it. The new swing Nathan S. looked like he could cover all the roles Erik covered. But Deven's departure was going to happen eventually. Hopefully he has something else in the works. Hi, shill for tickex.com!
But speaking of Sebastian, I figured I'd just throw in my two cents since I saw him last night - his voice is wonderful (though he tends to get nasal at the end of Cry for Me, just like Daniel did), but I'm not sure I like his characterization of Bob.

I was wondering how Sebastian has been doing as Bob because not much has been said about him. Would be interesting to see it. Updated On: 1/17/08 at 03:21 PM

How is it Tara Rubin's fault?
1. Merri Sugarman has been covering Casting at Tara Rubin's office for JERSEY BOYS for a long time now.
2. YOU should know that the Casting office just brings people in for auditions and THE PRODUCTION team chooses who to cast. NOT the Casting Directors.
Aren't you an intern for Telsey's Office? You should know better.

No.

No, it is not true. People on a theatre message board: wanna-be actors, producers, and directors should become educated enough to know that no final casting decisions are made by the casting directors.
Especially those who claim to have been an intern on their facebook page.
Or are you a different Shesamarshmallow?

The Vegas Cast has been officially announced ( http://tinyurl.com/2ouh46) and official Vegas site now lists the cast. http://www.jerseyboysinfo.com/vegas/
Also here's an interesting article that kind of mentions how they've trimmed the Vegas production down.

saw the show last night in houston, put the reviews up soon, however after stagedooring and talkin to the understudy he revealed to me that he reads this thread and after revealing what my sn was to him i have to post a postive thread

Fiyero13, which understudy was on.
And I think almost everyone in all the road companies reads or knows about this thread. Erich used to post in it, Gutman refered to it in his blog. And Jarrod's last show in SF, he mentioned something that was posted in this thread and a few of us had a laugh about it.

no , i meant an ensemble member that understudies the 4 seasons, but yeah the understudy for nick was on last night
An understudy for one of the Four Seasons? That doesn't really narrow it down. That's like...half the cast. But that's okay, we don't have to know...
FINALLY! Pictures from the event in Vegas!
Hope this works; if not, just go to gettyimages.com and search

I wish there were more than three, but maybe more will come out of other outlets soon.
That pic of Jeff Leibow made my day.

Jeremy has been updating his site. And has updated his calandar. He has a vacation marked down from 2/29-3/3 but probably more importantly, March 9th is currently marked as his final show with the Chicago company.

Not that well-written, but it's nice to see a feature on an ensemble member!

I think new compaines of JB popping up all over the place has stopped. Well for now atleast, who knows what will happen in a few years.
Aren't they making a Toronto cast too?
That's what I assumed, and a friend of mine said that that's what she heard too.
yeah they are...it opens in August at the Toronto Centre for the arts
Since she's on standby, it's really nice she's busying herself again! =]
Joseph Leo Bwarie wrote the show and directed it. Small world, huh?
I also remember seeing his name on JLY's blog when he made a small list of thanking people for donating money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation .
She also updated her blog.
It's just about the interview she had with azteen magazine.
