Btw am wondering why only Jersey Boys and Zorro are nominated this year? I thought there was always atleast 4 nominations if there was enough musicals to take them? Did they not like Imagine This enough?
I'd say a La Cage Broadway transfer is highly unlikely considering the Tony-winning revival just closed 4 years ago. Though the Playhouse production was the best production of the show I've seen.

Apparently, they only nominate musicals that are award-worthy. As I believe the majority ruled that Marguerite wasn't, I imagine I'm not the only one pleased to see even such a minor concession in the direction of integrity. :3
I promise this is the only bit of negativity I'm going to bring this site for at least the rest of the night, but can people PLEASE learn that "should of" is completely and utterly wrong and makes 'em look like an idiot? It's "should have". As in "you should have learned that years ago".
Handbags away, on with the Oliviers! What's with the quiet? Are they having another break? I make it three more awards to go, is that right?
My first Pinter experience was actually in performance. We did the Dumb Waiter (I was Ben) at school and I fell in love with his control of the English language soon after.
Could we go so far as say that August has been snubbed this year?
Come on John Tiffany! You can do it! Take Best Director! TAKE BEST DIRECTOR!
The thing I like about being a relative newcomer to theatre-going is that everything is new and exciting to me. Instead of having known things since I was a tiny child and never really appreciating them, I'm appreciating them from the get-go. I'm genuinely surprised by plot developments in rather old plays. I've got so much left to discover, and I'm really enjoying it. :3
The Lover/The Collection might have been my first Pinter too. I'd have to check though.
