The seating layout was never going to be exactly like the Winter Garden, but that doesn't mean that's not where they're intending to go. The mezzanine pricing is absolutely based on the Winter Garden. Why is the right mezzanine section less expensive than the left? Because, at the Winter Garden, that left section is actually considered a center section, and there's another far left section not represented on this seating chart. Also, the aisle seats of those 2 center sections, seats 101 and 1, come up as being on the aisle when you go to purchase, while the seats at the other end, seats 114 and 127, do not, suggesting that more seats are in those sections, as there are at the Winter Garden. Sorry, I'm a little OCD, and I like to do my research.
And, in my opinion, there's no chance in hell that it's going into either the Broadhurst or the Schoenfeld.

And so did King Kong before closing, I don't get why people think extending ticket sales mean anything when they can still put a closing date before that. I'm glad BJ is going great, but the Shuberts know MM will run circles around the number BJ is doing right now.

Makes sense!
Also, why are there 2 Row A's in the seating chart currently attached to the Music Man ticket offers? Is that one only a ploy to hide the true identity? If you remove one Row A, then the first two rows from left to right of the hall looks more like The Winter Garden now.
Also, the last row for Center Orch is Row V - which is the same as the WG.

Thank you! Finally, someone who gets it!

Are you kidding? The Booth is far too big, this obviously is aiming for the Helen Hayes.

CT2NYC has definitely converted me into a believer that the seating chart is indeed the Winter Garden - sans the rear side orch, and side mezz.
This works in its favor in 2 ways:
1) if it is the WG, the seats not on the seating chart will be the worst in the house, and can easily go on sale later as part of a marketing campaign for new seats released.
2) if it’s not the WG, it will be pretty easy to swap tickets purchased to another Shubert venue like the Broadway.

Do we think they’re going to move BeetleJuice? Or close? Because they extended ticket sales for Kong, but it was evident in the grosses that they were sitting in 60-70% capacity consistently. BeetleJuice is actually making a lot of money and has consistently been in the 90% capacity range, some times high 80’s. I don’t think they’re gonna close it...

I don’t think a decision will be made for a while, like next March.
It will cost so much money to transfer the show to a new theater, because they’d most likely have to build a new set to fit. It’s still only playing at 60-75% gross potential, so it’s not making as much as it could be. We’ll see how hard the fall hits it, but it could run until July 2020 and still have had an incredible run for a show as mediocre as it is.

Also, and I'm surprised I didn't notice it until now, but the mezzanine overhangs the orchestra at row O on the Telecharge seating chart, adding to the evidence that it's representing the Winter Garden.

Posted: 9/14/19 at 1:07pmI got the mezz E2 seat as well — however, it’s going to be much farther over at the WG. Makes me wish the could have simulated a more accurate chart if that’s the case.

E 2 is a great seat at the Winter Garden. I sat there for Beetlejuice:

I'm not at all familiar with the Winter Garden, so I did some Googling. Here is a list (in three parts) of all the many, many shows that have called the Winter Garden "home," dating back to 1911. Over the years, thousands of performers and tens of thousands of audience members, I would guess. Quite an amazing history. And now, maybe "The Music Man"?

The Winter Garden Theatre famously housed:
Streisand in FUNNY GIRL
Rosalind Russell in WONDERFUL TOWN
Martin in PETER PAN
Lansbury in both MAME and GYPSY
Orbach & Grimes in 42ND STREET
Original FOLLIES
Original WEST SIDE STORY
MAMMA MIA!
and for 18 years: CATS
