Alma Cuervo (replacement Mrs. Potts) totally busted me for filming (pictures, no flash) on front row when I saw the show May 2005. She was shooting daggers with her eyes during Human Again. I felt about 3 inches tall and vowed to never take pictures again....(except that one more time when Patti LuPone yelled at me during GYPSY...JK!!) Be More ChillIn fairness, I was the one asking the question: Why did I pay for this?

Its funny how this one sticks in my mind. But its for obvious reasons if you were there...Back when Jenny Wiley Theatre in Kentucky used to be good (prior to 2005), they had a FANTASTIC production of The King And I. I can still remember the scenic design and under the stars the show really took on a different feel (even with traditional staging). I think that was sometime around 2000 or 2001. Again, just incredible production.

So with this closure of all Broadway shows til next year, does this mean Beetlejuice can take back the Winter Garden until the other shows open? I laughed so hard typing that.
