XANADU will win Best Musical, Best Choreography, and is giving Patti LuPone a run for her money for the Best Actress in a Musical award...and apparently pigs can fly, dinosaurs still exist, and I'm really a monkey.

Regarding XANADU, perhaps the fans are not stuffing the ballot box and perhaps people actually LIKE the show and feel that it WILL win best musical. That is not a far fetched idea. Its a good show and got great reviews!

Regarding Patti, perhaps she has not taken the award in previous years NOT because there is some anti-Patti feelings among the Tony voters, but perhaps they realize she is not playing characters anymore, she is just on stage being Patti.
