I haven't done it, but supposedly the lottery is very crowded. If you don't want to risk it there's a discount on broadwaybox.com. (on a side note, I think I'm seeing ACL on the 13th as well.)
I tried seeing what's available for that day, with and without the discount, but only far side seats come up, and I do mean FAR !! And the lottery is an experience I'd love to have ! But if I get a little help from my BWW friends, it will be even better !
If we are seeing ACL on the same day and performance we have to meet up !!
That is awesome that you parents are gonna see the show with you !!! Have a great time !
As far as the lotto--- been very crowded lately.
Weds mat was not that bad, but most of the evening performances, the lottery has been crowded.
I'm gonna try for Tuesday evening and hope for the best ! Maybe I'll be able to try again for Saturday matinee if I don't win, but if it will be crowded on Tuesday, I can't imagine what Saturday is gonna be like !
Chica - Have a great time!
You'd probably be better off on Tuesday than Saturday.
Totally agree, Dancin'-
Sat will be tough !
There is a cute little piece with Lin on this weeks "On Stage" o NY1, where he speaks about the talkbacks with the students that are coming in groups to see the show.
For many of them, its their 1st theatre experience. Good to see !

I think....My last 10/10 Report for this season is.......
IN THE HEIGHTS.....
Yes! I am saving the BEST for last... though some of you may know that my personal favorite is PASSING STRANGE, but I strongly believe that IN THE HEIGHTS will win the TONYS for Best New Musical. I like IN THE HEIGHTS too- either way.. I can go...PASSING STRANGE or IN THE HEIGHTS...but I think IN THE HEIGHTS will win the TONYS...I can feel it...that's why it will be my SEASON FINALE for my reports... yay!

I saw that! I think it's great that he likes talking to the students so much.
Yeah, and he loved the "cat-calls" during the Benny/Nina "balcony" scene !!! :))
The fourth IN THE HEIGHTS interactive character card features Seth Stewart as Sonny!
Lol BWW- lol.
In The Heights Character Card #4: Graffiti Pete
Love it !!! The more I see the show, the more I realize what an amazing Seth is !
I want the OBCR and I want it NOW!
Jay I'm so excited that you decided to do a 10/10 for ItH! I thought you had decided not to when you gave away your ticket, and I was bummed because your reviews are so amazing.
I love these character cards! My favorite video is still the one for Abuela Claudia though.

"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofu

Thanks for keeping the love alive, Jay ! Their artwork is SOOO good !!
Nice pictures, Jay! I can't wait to read your report on the show.
I really love these character cards.
Just get to the Richard Rodgers and experience the soul and sass of the show for yourself...it's so great!

I've seen it a few times already, I love it. (And if that wasn't for me, just ignore the stupidity .)
I have not seen it on Broadway yet but I saw it at 37 Arts during its Off-Broadway run. Cant wait! this will be my second musical that I saw both off-and on broadway...of course the other one is GREY GARDENS!
