I am the happiest person alive right now...I was at the Tony Awards tonight screaming my head off for IN THE HEIGHTS. So happy for Lin Manuel Miranda and the show. I will be there Tuesday night and I hope to come into work on Wednesday with no voice at all. The evening will be absolutely thrilling. Can't wait.

While looking for something else this morning I came across my ticket stub to my very first viewing of Heights- over a year ago, seeing a show at 37 Arts for the first time, where, since everyone I knew had been telling me how much I would love it, I decided to 'splurge' for my first viewing, and get $36.25 center orch tickets. The day I first laughed at "that's a lot of soda" and "yo there she goes, in yesterday's clothes, and they're coming this waaay," and other lines that are no longer, and cried at Alabanza, and...
...sorry, I just had to get all nostalgic for a second. Carry on. :)

ANDREA LOOKS HOTT.
I'm watching the acceptance speeches over - none of the men's speeches compare to Lin's, I love him.
Enjoy the show tomorrow night guys- I'd love to go but I busted my hip [and just by saying that I fee 20 years older.] I want reviews and when they announce alex or bill orchestrating will someone please cheer extra loud for me? I already know you kids are going to go insane for Lin :]

Thanks for scanning the pic from the Times !!! I bought it this morn, but didnt have access to a scanner from work - Greatly appreciated !! I am going to try and get the cast to sign my copy tomorrow night.
The women all look fierce !!! Mandy's dress is absolutely gorgeous !!!

I am so jealous of all of you who have tickets for tomorrow night. Believe me, it crossed my mind 3 weeks ago to get a ticket, but at the moment it's just not feasible (especially since I live out of town). I'll be there in spirit and can't wait to hear all about it.
That picture of Lin Manuel on the shoulders of those guys is precious. That picture captured a lot of emotion.
I wanted Robin to win, because I was anxious to hear what he would say.

I don't know if I could be posting on this site/ thread more today - but then again my hip is still killing me so I'm trying not to over do it.
Did anyone notice the handshake Lin and Vanessa have? They like put their knuckles together and make it explode- it's absolutely adorable.

still excited for in the heights and i love the still photo of when they won best musical. shh282 i noticed the handshake so sweet and not over doing it like other couples and they look so cute together. i wonder if matt and karen sat together and same with noah and krysta. i wonder if in the heights and south pacific had a combination after party together.
did you know asmeret who plays pilar in legally blonde was an u/s for vanessa and did go on a few times in the role.
