What were plays/musicals that you discovered long after they were gone or you missed while they played?
-Passing Strange
-Sunday in the Park with George
-Everyday Rapture
Spring Awakening is they only one jumping out at me right now... and Everyday Rapture, I am SO upset I missed it. I listened to the recording and saw a few clips very shortly after the run ended and was so angry at myself for underestimating it.
Everyday Rapture
Come Fly Away- I always knew about it, but never cared to look into it or anything. When I found out more about it, there was only a week left in the run, so I never got to see what it was all about.

Caroline or Change
Everyday Rapture
Finian's Rainbow (Cheyenne Jackson + "Old Devil Moon" = <333)
and
Everyday Rapture ("Up the Ladder to the Roof" got me hooked on the music)
Yank! - I could have seen the final off-broadway performance...but I wasn't really familiar with it until I got back [to Australia]. Was slightly devastated, especially after hearing the current demo recording. Now to hear it won't reach Broadway next/this season makes me more sad.
Ragtime - I was really looking forward to seeing this but such a sad case/early closing etc..
Parade
Caroline, or Change is definitely at the top of my list.
And I wish I had been more aggressive about seeing A Chorus Line. Bad luck at the lottery honestly turned me off a little.
Parade. JRB is hit or miss for me, but I love this score.
Do shows I wish I had been alive to see count? Because then there'd be a lot more. Especially Prettybelle. And that other show that was playing in Boston at the time.
Caroline or Change
Patti LuPone Gypsy (it snowed the weekend I was supposed to go)

Into the Woods with Bernadette Peters. What could I possibly have been doing that was more important than seeing that?

The OBC of Ragtime -- was SO glad to catch the revival 2x.
Yank! (But I'll wait!)
Into the Woods -- I was not interested at all until the production was televised and I've been sorry ever since! I've seen the production performed, but never on Bway.
