Lincoln center production No longer listed as "do not work." Maybe they can complete the cast now.

That's a relief...for many I am sure.

It seems likely that the producers of the Luker concert put pressure on AEA in hopes of getting the MCP production out of the way.

The concert at the Lortel was close to sold out once they announced Rebecca Luker's involvement, so they really had nothing to worry about.
Equity has been trying to get these concerts under a contract since they started. This year was the year they finally decided to dig in their heels. It's coincidental that there was another concert presentation of the same show planned for roughly the same time.

Wasn't the MCP concert announced first?
Posted: 11/27/15 at 12:32pm
Yes. The MCP production was essentially announced in February. The add was in the program for Parade. It also went on sale before Actors Fund one was even announced. I was just really confused why they choose to do that show, when it had been clear for so long that MCP would do Secret Garden.
I honestly also didn't care who did it, I've just been wanting to see this show ever since I first heard the CR that I'm obsessed with. I would have gone to any production. But I about my tickets for Lincoln Center before I even knew the other one was gonna happen. I have have even gone to both, but I'm out of town for the Actors Fund one anyway...

There's a lot of "Secret Garden" going on. Rebecca Luker is starring in a special staging of the show to benefit Make-A-Wish foundation on January 11 and 16th at the Lucille Lortel Theater.

Ramin Karimloo AND Cheyenne Jackson?! Can you just imagine "Lily's Eyes"?

Wow, i was kinda bummed that I bought a ticket to the Lincoln Center concert rather than the one downtown, but this casting is unbelievable!

I'm still really glad I am going downtown. Considering going to this but we'll see.

Now I'm really bummed by the casting. Ramin never strikes me as Archie. Even Cheyenne Jackson sounds better as Archie IMHO. Oh well, I'm glad I grabbed one ticket to the downtown one.

I'm still more excited about the Rebecca Luker concert. Ramin and Sierra seem like very nice people but I don't always enjoy their singing. We shall see.

Incredibly excited about this. It's a great cast and while I never thought of Sierra as Lily I do really like her. And I just love the music of this show SO much!

I bought the Lincoln Center production ticket for 2/21 in row K with 20% off discount. Don't think I can make it now and want to sell it. If someone is interested, please let me know. Total is $111.50

Wish we could get an updated recording from this concert.

Sanda, do you still have that ticket available? I'd love to buy it. Thanks.

Any news on who's playing Archibald in the Rebecca Luker concert? Weird that such a large role hasn't been announced yet as far as I've seen.....

And last time I checked, they hadn't yet announced the Colin in the LIncoln Center version. Have I missed it?
Eli Tokash is doing it downtown and IMO is just perfect for the role.

Bradley Dean is playing Archibald in the downtown concert.

I'm wondering why they didn't make an announcement. Maybe it's because he is not a big name and the two concerts have already sold out?

Yes, it is still there. I can do exchange locally if you are in NYC.
