The title is very misleading! The Secret Garden is only going to be presented as a one night only concert at Avery Fisher Hall.

One night show. It's like the productions of Parade, Titanic, and Ragtime that have occurred as concerts.

Still I am totally excited. I saw the phenomenal Ragtime last year in concert... and was bummed to miss Parade this year.. I can't wait to see this one.

Still hoping for a full revival of this musical, though. Should have happened a long time ago, in my opinion. How I wish I could have seen the original Broadway production.

I never put any thought into who might be playing the role, but now that she has been announced, it seems so obvious. Of course Sidney Lucas is playing Mary in this concert. Hopefully I can make it! Loved Parade last year.

He could possibly pull off Neville Craven, but he's not who I would think of for the role. 

 

I wonder if they'll recruit Jake Lucas to play Colin!

Does this series normally make a live recording?

Because Sydney Lucas was in my mind before I saw the cast list and it's going to be fantastic. One of my favorite scores to date.

No, they don't. They haven't made one for any of the 3 concert they've done so far.

Since Jeremy Jordan was shockingly amazing as Leo Frank in Parade, I'd like to cast my vote for Jeremy Jordan as Archibald Craven.
