Before you continue teddy, please tell us your involvement in this project. Do you work for NBC? Or are you just an unpaid intern who has been told to shill online? Because if your screen name is any indication of your age, I'm going to go with the unpaid intern theory.

He picked his username because it locked in his goal of starting 1996 threads on The Wiz Live!

I don't work for nbc. I am just a fan. the wiz is a great musical and my mom saw it on broadway back when it first came out. she recorded most of it and I was able to watch it on tape. it was amazing. I am not involved with the project. I am just a fan of the musical

Your Mom made a bootleg video of the show in 1975?

What did your mother use in 1975 to make a video of the show?

#10

The Wiz Live! Cast

Maybe it confused the original with the tour or the 1984 revival which there are bootlegs of.

Have you ever thought of digitizing said tape if it does in fact exist. You could get a fortune on the black market!

Yeah, obviously a video camera in 1975.

Sounds like your mother taught you pretty well how to be a liar.

Maybe his mother was an animator with a good memory?

this thread is about the cast of the upcoming nbc production, not about how my mom recorded the original broadway show. just let that be and talk about the cast

There are already threads about this, so use the search bar and find an already existing one. We've been talking for a while about the cast already.

Just leave it alone. Back away.

The Wiz Live! Cast

It's here forever now. And I'm going to reference it every time you post about anything and how you like to come here and tell ridiculous lies about stupid things.

But prove me wrong. Please tell me exactly what kind of camera your Mother bootlegged the 1975 production with. Or if you don't know exactly what kind (which would be understandable) just let me know what kind of film was used with the camera.

how am I supposed to know which camera and which type of film she used? she obviously wouldn't remember which camera and film she used. it is not like she is gonna have that camera for the rest of her life.

You would be surprised what people remember. Go ask her. She was obviously proud of the tape as she showed it to you.

I just asked her just now and she doesn't remember. she was 14 years old when she recorded it. her mom told her to record it.

#23

The Wiz Live! Cast

Well she must remember what type of film she used since she would have had to get it transferred to VHS at some point. Unless you watched it another way...
