I like the Virginia Theatre, inside and out. Inside only, the Imperial, outside only, the Music Box.

The outside and lobby of the theatre are great, but the actual theatre is a godforsaken BARN.

Lyceum. By and large the best house on Broadway. The outside is beautiful and elegant. The marquee is nice and understated. The inside is lavishly detailed. I love it.

And off-Broadway, I love the Brooklyn Academy of Music's Harvey Theater. It's so beautifully rundown. It's like the "Urban Outfitters" of theaters. It's like garbage chic. And the stage is really cool and interesting. It's a great space.

I love the Gershwin... not just because of Wicked. the way you enter the theatre is really neat and when you get to the auditorium is really neat... because of Wicked. Cleveland has some beautiful theaters.

The Ethel Barrymore is intimate and gorgeous.

How to properly use its/it's: Its is the possessive. It's is the contraction for it is...

The Nederlander. I love how the mezzanine overhangs the first few rows of the Orchestra instead of the last few rows. It's super close to the stage so even though you're in the "cheap seats" you're still a lot closer to the stage then in other theatres where the mezzanine begins at the back of the Orchestra section and the balcony even further back.

The Ford Center/Oriental Theatre in Chicago has a GORGEOUS interior.

Rant, Wickud, Rant, Wickud, Rant! We're not gonna pay Rant! 'Cause everythink is Wickud!

I love the Richard Rodgers and the Imperial- just beautiful, with great sight lines and a cool layout.

Least favorite- the Hilton

From the outside, the Shubert.
From the inside, just about all the other older theaters, except for the first four rows of the Neil Simon.
Oh, and the lobby of the Imperial is not the greatest, but the current tenant makes the visit more than worth while.
Special mention goes out to the August Wilson (formerly the Virginia) for their assistance to my handicapped companion.

I love the August Wilson, even though the last time I was there it was the Virginia. My absolute favorite, though, is the O'Neill. I also really like the Richard Rodgers. On the other hand, I'm not too fond of the Majestic.

I liked the Marquis, despite the inconvenient location.
