OPENING NIGHT NEWS BULLETIN :

Olivia Newton-John fans! Come one, come all tomorrow, Tuesday July 10 to welcome her to Xanadu on Broadway!

The opening night performance starts at 6:30, so fans can start arriving on 44th street after 5PM to get a good spot to see the stars!


Xanadu prizes to be awarded to the greatest fANADUs! Come dressed in your favorite disco era clothes!

Dang! I have a thing tomorrow afternoon, but I will do what I can to make it. I hope there's lots of pics tomorrow anyway, for those of us who won't be likely to make it.

Jay, will you be premiering your costume?

Testing1232, the hardest thing in the world is not buying tickets. Part of me wants one day a week to be Xanadu day...

I'm thinking XanaTuesdays!

You GOTTA wear the Kira outfit!!! You know if you wear that outfit, there will be people taking your pictures as well. Just imagine being on all the Broadway sites and maybe even the papers the next day.

Who knows, Olivia might see you and HAVE to get a picture with you...

Tell me about it !!! I have tix for 6 dates currently in my house, and no doubt, I am going to buy more tomorrow.... I might actually bring my Disney Pins for Kerry !!! :))

everythingtabboo- unfortunately no- its my hubby's b-day tommorrow to 7/10..
Don't worry you guy will see the premiere of my "Thalia/the asian muse" costume
bec. I will be inspiring artist in Provincetown to achieve their artistic abilities
and pls dont tell anyone.. or else there would be any artist ego !!!

BTW- Can you guys take pics of the crowd tommorow and post it or e-mail it to me -(pm me & I will forward you my e-mail-thanks!!) and I will post it here for us- fANADUs....

No- its singingbackup ....he coined the word "fANADU" for f(ans of X)ANADU..

As to how the Production teams pick up the name fANADU- who knows? a most plausible explanation is they read these threads.. There was an article oh HX magazine about Douglas Carter Beane (librettist) who admitted that he is obssesed reading these threads.. I will try to find that article & post it here later -

or Craig might just told the XANADU people ?

I have a lucky pin for her for the opening --- my "Millionaire- Play it" pin from MGM---- (got called into the "hot seat" once)

I just hope I get a chance to give it to her ! (and she doesnt think I am totally nuts...LOL

I will be there, but prolly NOT in 80's garb. My 80's stuff is all faded jeans and members-only jackets and otherwise heavy stuff, and it's supposed to be 90 degrees, so no thanx.

I'm thinking just wear my black Xanadu cap.
You're hurt and you're scared because you doubt your own artistic ability.
