I would like to propose a Tony for Best Featured Abs in a Play:
-Cheyenne Jackson, THE PERFORMERS
-Seth Numrich, GOLDEN BOY
-Billy Magnussen, VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE
-Sebastian Stan, PICNIC
-Jonny Orsini, THE NANCE

I was actually happy Billy Magnussen was nominated. I thought he was very very funny in the role of Spike.

i think Cory Michael Smith should get special recognition for Best Male Equipment... it certainly blessed us with its appearance in Tiffanys!

Billy's performance was actually quite phenomenal. The scene where he replays the Entourage audition was absolutely brilliant and he's consistently funny throughout and certainly embraces his character.

It's really tricky to play dumb and stupid, and many actors would've taken it differently. Billy's approach is very smart and careful, and worth the recognition!

When I saw it, he pulled those drawers up pretty quickly. Just a few weeks before the divorce announcement. Maybe that's why .

Everyone on these boards always mentions Smith's full frontal scene in Tiffany's, but I haven't read a lot about Orsini's in The Nance... was it not as impressive?

Smith gets best frontal below the belt award. Orsini gets best everything else by a mile.
(Also loved Orsini's whole performance so I might be biased.)

It could be a blocking issue that plagues Orsini, since I was on the side of the house that only got glorious ass, whereas those other people were seeing what I never did. That could hurt him when it comes to voters, unless they put all the voters on the right side of the house.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but Jonny Orsini's endowment is average-- which sitting on the right side of the house will give you a chance to confirm. Since everything else about him is way, way above average, why belittle him that small issue...
