I feel like the transition from "I Could Have Danced All Night" to "Get Me to the Church" is going to be abrupt and weird and ruin the impact of "Danced All Night" like how The King and I's Tony Awards medley made Ruthie Ann Mile's "Something Wonderful" just seem like a weird transition song with no impact. I love Bartlett Sher's productions but I don't love his Tony Award medleys. I still think the South Pacific one with the choice of songs were really odd and its unsettling weirdness has stayed with me after all of these years.

LITTLE detail, but OOTI just posted on their facebook that they will be performing "live at 10:06PM." I think it will be funny just to see how long over their scheduled time the show ends up taking them.

According to one of the DEH understudies they are preforming for the in memoriam so most likely they’ll be doing you will be found

Liza Minnelli has been getting around lately via a wheelchair.  I'm sure she declined the offer due to this.  She's been seated at all her recent appearances (and photos posted of her on social media), so I don't think she can walk and stand on a stage unassisted long enough to do this introduction.

Yes, I assume It’s DTD. That’s the only scene where she wears the costume she rehearsed in with those props.

There are also pictures of Greg Hildreth at rehearsal so they have to be doing something after Olaf arrives. Maybe it will be a Dangerous to Dream, Let It Go/Let The Sun Shine In reprise combo!?

I agree with Meet the plastics. And they already did "rather be me" and "apex predator". 

 

Whatever "frozen" does can Patti Murin put on some make up? It's as if she doesn't know thousands of people will be looking at her instagram. I'm all for natural , but she calls herself a princess over and over again, you can't have it both ways.

They are performing a combo of First Time in Forever and Dangerous to Dream. I'm very excited!

Anyone know what the other song Spongebob is performing? We’ve established that they’re doing I’m Not a Loser, but there were pics this morning of the cast wearing their regular character costumes on their way to rehearsal. Also, Wesley Taylor confirmed on Twitter he is not performing, but Stephanie Hsu will be there as Karen, so what else could they be doing?

Riedel's column on Friday implied that there's an opening number involving cast-members from various shows. Anyone who was at the rehearsal know if this is true?

I’ve never spoken my political views on this board. However when you refer to yourself as princess, in print, over and over again, be prepared to hear from people that know that’s not a real thing. It’s ok to put time into how you present yourself to the world. That’s not anti feminist -or conservative, grasshopper.

Make up for what? Being a princess doesn’t mean wearing a lot of makeup. Especially in today’s society. She clearly doesn’t need to change what she’s been doing b/c she got herself on that tony stage. And especially after having to wear makeup for the show every night I don’t blame her for wanting to be natural on her time off. We’re not trying to teach young girls that the only way to be beautiful and make it is to wear wake up 24/7.

Wow. This might be the worst thing I've read on this message board so far and that is really saying something. She calls herself a princess because she is playing one on stage. A woman who doesn't always wear makeup, who never claims to be perfect, who has flaws, is real and transparent and open about her struggles and challenges is playing a Disney princess. To wear makeup 100% of the time would completely negate everything she's trying to use her platform for, and frankly everything Frozen stands for and means. That and no one wears makeup all the time, nor should they have to. Women are not only beautiful when they are glammed up in fake eyelashes and makeup. What she does and how she looks when she's off the clock is literally no one's business but hers. And if she wants to tweet that all day long, more power to her. I respect the realness she brings.
