This pushes everything about 6 days later. "Due to the challenges that Broadway has faced in recent weeks, and in an effort to allow nominators to see Tony eligible shows, we have decided to extend the deadline for eligibility requirements."
Do we think this is due to any specific shows needing to open later due to positive cases? (Such as POTUS, which has it going through the cast, or MACBETH and A STRANGE LOOP, which had to cancel early previews.)

Will any shows alter when they have their opening night?

Nothing announced yet. Logistically it would be almost impossible to move the party/invited performance at this point, so I think any movement would just be of the embargo/press performances (with the party & red carpet happening on the previously-announced date).
Would not be surprised if POTUS moves embargo to May 1 or 3 to ensure that Julianne Hough is back in time, and to give the play necessary time to gel. And then it won't be opening the same day as MR. SATURDAY NIGHT. From my perspective, STRANGE LOOP is good enough to open today, but they and MACBETH could also move press nights to the following week to make up for lost previews.

Has anyone been out of POTUS other than Julianne Hough?

A Strange Loop, Paradise Square and Potus are the issues.

Not that I've heard of. Someone in another thread (or maybe I saw it on Reddit) said that a few other cast members, including Rachel Dratch, were out with COVID during rehearsals, so they might actually be pretty safe moving forward.

Paradise Square has already opened. Although I suppose there's an issue with voters getting to see it given that it was shut down for more than a week.
The issue with PARADISE SQUARE (and some of the struggling non-musical plays) would be if they were planning to announce closing on May 3 if they don’t get a Best Musical nom. Now they would have to announce before nominations come out, or would have to limp through another week.
Thinking more: do we know how many performances PARADISE has had post-opening in which the full principal cast was in attendance? I believe they only had 2 pre-opening press performances because of Chilina's COVID. And then the Covid outbreak happened right after Opening. So it may be that some nominators haven't been able to see the full principal cast yet, necessitating a buffer.
This is tricky. What if a few cast members test positive next week? Will Broadway League extend the dates again for another week?
There are probably no negative repercussions from this.

I’m going to Patti LuPone’s Songs From a Hat concert on May 9th. She will surely be nominated for a Tony that morning, so it should be a pretty exciting evening!
