Urinetown audition songs?

Just wondering if there were any suggenstions for a good Pennywise audition song? I have a couple, but all suggestions would be very helpful! thanks!

One that shows off range but is a strong character role. "Privilege To Pee" is you're allowed to sing from the show, "My Strongest Suit" from AIDA possibly?

If that's the character you want, I would recommend just singing "It's a Privilege to Pee."

I'm trying to land Pennywise at my college, and we are not allowed to use songs from the show in our auditions. Any help?

sing something from Evita. If it's an excerpt, perhaps from "A New Argentina" (well, I think that's the name of the tune, I don't know Evita THAT well) the one with those high, belted (He supports you, cause he loves you...blah blah. Belt that puppy out. If you can't, I wouldn't bother with Pennywise. She belts out a G regularly in "Priv. to Pee" and sings a high C at the end. If not Evita, something else that belts VERY high.

Doesn't "Privilege to Pee" hit a high C on the last note? Sing something with a big range!

I can definitely belt it, but they are looking for a song that is not a show tune. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Christina Aguilera usually belts pretty high, consider one of her songs.
