And yes, keep Ariana Grande faaaaaar away from the film. What a bland performance.

That For Good performance with the past Elphies and Glindas made me cry. Well done!

Nearly broke down into sobs myself during For Good.

I think it's sad that Idina can't sing Defying Gravity in the original key anymore. Understandable, but it's sad to think she may never be able to perform it like she used to again. Same with Mandy Patinkin and most of his songs from Sunday.

What's so sad about it? We have those performances recorded and filmed. They are older and their voices change. I love that they can still sing them and bring something different to the songs as their voices mature.

ANYWAY.
That was, overall, wonderful!

According to EW, Laura Bell Bundy, Shoshana, and Eden were there with the former Elphies & Glindas. Um did I miss something?

Ariana Grande needs to get a grip of herself. She can sing but jeez her diction is APPALLING.
Kristin stole the show.. what a star.

Kate Fahrner.

During the One Short Day number by the current cast, who was playing Glinda aside Jessica vosk? That didn't look like Amanda Jane Cooper, although I could be mistaken. Was it possibly Emily Mechler?

I actually really liked it, but I agree that Ariana needs to stay far far away from the movie. Also wish Jackie Burns got to do something since she's the longest running Elphaba (I think?) and the new tour elphaba but alas...

Not the best pop up video tidbits but the girl not knowing the words to "Popular" at the end was funny.

I was confused by the Defying Gravity orchestration...If she wasn't singing I would have never know it was the song...she sang it beautifully...but hated the orchestration....Ariana is a legit talent but...geez girl stop mumbling and warbling each note...just sing !!! of course For Good was amazing

Did anyone else notice how the selfie Kristin took with that girl didn't take? She missed the button and gave it back. Poor girl...

They did two takes, the first take worked but the second take which they aired, Kristin didn't take it.

Ah, that's nice to hear. I thought maybe she only did it in the second take or something, but good to know!

Not sure that this is specifically concert related - but it could turn out to be ...
Amazon are advertising a 15th Anniversary edition to be released February 8. Anyone know any more about this?
