yeah, i think i woud've been ok with any of the actors being replaced except anthony. i mean, i wouldn't like it... but it'd be ok.
i'm betting you'll have charlie chaplin reincarnated as angel tonight. and barney as collins.

"`I grow old... I grow old... I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.` What does that mean, Mr. Marlowe?"
"Not a bloody thing. It just sounds good."
He smiled. "That is from the `Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.` Here's another one. `In the room women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?"
"Yeah -- it suggests to me that the guy didn't know very much about women."
"My sentiments exactly, sir. Nonetheless I admire T. S. Eliot very much."
"Did you say, 'nonetheless'?"

Oh the horrors of nightmares....*shudder*. I don't know, I was never exactly horrified by Justin Timberlake in RENT, I just had a REALLY hard time imagining him pulling off Roger or Mark. I just couldn't find a way to wrap my mind around it. I don't know, I wouldn't be happy with any of the movie cast being replaced by mainstream pop singers if it where just for stuntcasting.........Oh well, at least it was just a dream.
I wanted to get something that an "ex"-junkie like him would really appreciate and cherish....it's a brick of heroin shaped like a heart.

That is one horrid nightmare! (But, I don't think Justin could beat up Adam.

For some reason while I was reading this about Justin Timberlake, the image of Michael Jackson as Mark popped into my head (probably because Justin desperately tries to channel Michael when he sings).

*clutches heart* Are you trying to kill us?
*images the Anthony butt dance in LVB to take away the bad images*
Okay, I'm good now. I have something to say (don't I always?):
I watched the cast interviews they had during Brown Sugar (starring the ever-sexy Taye Diggs) and after all the interviews, they showed a 'sneak peek' which was the trailer we've had for months, but the thing is...I started crying. I went into the bathroom and sobbed, smiling the whole time because everything hit me at once. How Rent has in one year (as it was about this time last year I was introduced to it) changed my life *yeah, yeah, insert "For good" here* and how powerful it still is.
I had the opportunity to go see Rent on Monday, special screening. But I couldn't take my best friends (who introduced me to Rent in the first place). My dilemma was, I could go to the screening and then see it with them Wednesday and they wouldn't be the wiser, but...
Rent is about friends being 'the family you choose' and I couldn't go see the movie without my girls, my best friends, sisters, my family.
I want the emotion to hit me and I want my girls there to laugh with, to cry with, to miss Aubrey (displaced in California) with, to stand up with me and dance in the aisle during LVB, to moo with when Idina asks us to, to experience the year in the lives of these eight characters with.
So, I declined the pass.
*grins and bounces slightly more impatiently* It's like waiting for Christmas morning and you can't sleep, even though it will make Santa visit sooner. I will be in bed three seconds after the end of House on Tuesday, with that same excitement trying to sleep until I can see the movie. And of course, Nov. 23rd is Christmas for me this year.
End of storytime, pick up your cookies and milk on the way out, thank you little darlings.

The only other trailer I have seen besides the teaser and the international release, is the one with "Out Tonight" with words from the critics that come on the screen.

if you watch LOGO every so often they play the out tonight video, just like randomly. I was watching a chorus line today (the movie) and after it was done they played it, very exciting :)

I was watching SNL on my Tivo and was fast-fowarding and I thought I spotted Rosario so I rewound it and gasped.
This one had critics reviews too.
It was just really exciting.
