"from across the street? Lie, you were walking on a street and suddenly saw Anthony walking by? :-P"
No, I was standing across the street with many other Rent fans in the freezing cold watching them arrive at the Rent world premiere. :) I got Adam, Idina, and Jesse's signatures! Whoooot.

I am totally gonna jack Anthony's thread here, and I apologize, but I don't feel like starting a new thread and this seems like as good a place as any.
I am in the process of knitting a Mark scarf for the film opening next week.
Would it be totally dorky to try and get the scarf signed by a couple of the actors playing/who have played Mark?
I'll be seeing the show on Broadway again in January, I presume Matt will be in, so I figure I could try and get him to sign it. I'll try and get whoever ends up playing the role on the tour to sign it too when it comes to my end of town.
And, if fate ever allows, it would be quite lovely to get Anthony to sign it.
Is this a dumb idea?

I don't think that's a dumb idea at all Colleen. Adding a little creativity to the usual playbill signing routine. I hope you get some good sigs for your scarf!
And I'm quite jealous of my friend right now, she went to an LA screening of RENT last Sunday or sometime around then and there was a cast Q and A after and at one point she was standing like 2 feet from Anthony. If I'd have known that they would all be there, I would have asked her to say hi to Anthony for me. I almost fell over when she told me, we spent all stage combat talking about it instead of practicing our fight scene. (oops *sheepish grin*).

Yes I know, it gave me good motivation for our fight scene though. :-P

I wonder how long it'll be before someone writes a fanfic about the shower, though.

Apparently Adam and Anthony were roommmates in SF, or something, and Anthony was in the shower when Adam decided that it should be his turn, and got upset, which almost resulted in a "fight."
That's pornographic fan fiction waiting to happen.

Anthony must be completely exhausted.
He was apparently in L.A. last weekend, he was obviously in NY earlier this week for the premiere, and he was in Chicago this weekend? He must be spending half his time in the airport.

I'd pay money to see that. No offense to Anthony, but that's probably barking up the wrong tree! Adam's a little bigger than you!

Yeah it is. I don't think I could ever write porographic fan fiction though, I can barely make myself write regular fan fiction.
Oh, and yes, I would pay money to see that fight too, even though I do think Adam would win.

Adam would win and HURT HIM. Have you seen that man's arms? I wouldn't want to fight him!
I still don't know how you can write and publish that stuff and not feel uncomfortable. If the BWW Rent video taught people anything, it's that you never know who reads what. I'll never get it, I guess...

I've never understood Fan Fiction. It seems kinda creepy to me.
Though I did make RENT Sims..... I haven't played them at all though.

Yeah, but then we could fix Anthony all up after.
*shrug* I'm not knocking people who write it, I just don't think I could actually bring myself to write one and post it.

where did you read the shower story?
"`I grow old... I grow old... I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.` What does that mean, Mr. Marlowe?"
"Not a bloody thing. It just sounds good."
He smiled. "That is from the `Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.` Here's another one. `In the room women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?"
"Yeah -- it suggests to me that the guy didn't know very much about women."
"My sentiments exactly, sir. Nonetheless I admire T. S. Eliot very much."
"Did you say, 'nonetheless'?"

RENT SIMS?! That's so cute. Could end up *totally* inappropriate, but that's SO CUTE. I miss that game.
