Heading to the city next weekend? Would like to see a couple of Place. Any suggestions? On or Off Broadway? Thanks!
If you're just looking for plays and not musicals, I think Leopoldstadt, Prima Facie, and Fat Ham are three of the best plays currently running on Broadway right now.

Leopoldstadt and The Sign in Sidney's Brustein's window
Prima Facie is a MUST SEE! Jodie Comer delivers a master-class performance!

Leopolstadt, Sidney Brustein, Fat Ham, Thanksgiving Play
I was about to start a similar thread, so I'm glad I found this one!
I'll be back in the city May 17-22 and want to catch two straight plays.
I've already seen Leopoldstadt and Fat Ham and I have tix already for Prima Facie and Sydney Brustein for later in the summer.
I'm between Grey House, Life of Pi, Goodnight Oscar, Thanksgiving Play, and Doll's House.

I would go with Oscar, Sean Hayes gives one heck of a performance and it's a great evening overall!

You have longer to see the first 3 than the last 2, which both close by the Tonys.

I thought Doll's House and Life of Pi were great, Goodnight Oscar and Thanksgiving Play could be passed up. I saw Grey House at first preview this Saturday and it was so original and interesting, I had seen The Thin Place at Playwrights a few years back and thought that was more intense, but Grey House's script is just mind-blowingly complex, layered, and... just amazing. Has taken me two days of thinking to really undertsand what I saw. I'd suspect you'll have lots of time to see that one, so if just one I'd probably go Doll's House given it'll close, even though I liked Grey House the best of the five.
