West End OEDIPUS To Transfer To Broadway
 Mar 6 2025, 03:33:55 PM

I wanted to see this in the West End, but the tickets were astronomical! No way I was gonna pay almost £300 for a ticket. A friend of mine saw it though and said that it was truly a remarkable experience.

The Next London Imports: Any Guesses?
 Feb 28 2025, 08:59:50 AM

Heard Giant with John Lithgow is coming next year after its West End run.

As for other shows that should transfer to New York, The Years and Benjamin Button, as well as Much Ado whole, wholeheartedly deserve NYC transfers.

I am totally convinced he is gonna reveal something soon for Hamilton's 10th anniversary!

THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON Heading to Broadway Next Season?

After seeing it four times and with many more revisits to come, I can say that this should be Broadway-bound.

Reviews are In! Raves almost Across the Board

The fact that this production is running into 2026 is incredible. Looking forward to seeing it in 2 weeks.

Gotcha! Thanks for the clarification!

Wouldn't Dorian Gray be considered a revival, as the story has been adapted for the stage before? Correct me if I am wrong, I still don't quite understand the Tony Rules for what's considered a revival or a new play.

STEREOPHONIC sets West End engagement and US tour dates
 Jan 8 2025, 11:03:55 AM

I’m so thrilled it’s coming to London. It’ll be nice to see it again. Really hope though they bring the whole OBC over cause that cast was truly one of a kind!

Great Comet in London

I saw the show this afternoon. That's three for three of seeing the hottest tickets in London right now.

It was really nice to see this musical again after seven and a half years! So...

I love how this musical works in an intimate space like the Donmar, but I really prefer the elegant 19th-century nightc

Only if the seats are wide enough. I typically don't care for the armrests in the older theatres as they can make the seat a tight and uncomfortable squeeze.

Frecknall helmed Cat on a Hot Tin Roof LONDON - News & Discussion Thread
 Dec 22 2024, 10:00:29 AM

I was also there last night, and I can say it was truly a remarkable production. I agree with Jordan on Kingsley. He delivers truly a riveting performance, but I was not prepared for Lennie James as Big Daddy. WOW! He was almost a monster, and I was kinda frightened by him. I have a strong bias for Rebecca Frecknall's work, so that's why I enjoyed it more than others. I'm hopeful this production transfers to the West End so that more people have the chance to see it.

Apologies for the delay. Time zone difference, lol. I sat in Row H, Seat 12 in the back, but I was dead center, so I had a perfect view of the stage. This space is very small. If you're close to the stage, you might miss some things, so I am glad these seats were in the back.

TodayTix. Every show from now till the end of the run in early March, they will release 4 tickets per show. Odds are slim but as long as you get on the app early enough, it you might have a shot.

Great Comet in London

I'll be going next Monday. I'm intrigued to see the differences between this and the original Broadway production. It's hard to believe it's been almost 8 years since I saw it, and I remember it like yesterday. The only actors I know of in the cast are Jamie Muscato and Cedric Neal.
