What is the most number of times you've seen in a particular show in a short period of time?

My friend at work just told me that she saw "Man of La Mancha" 26 times in 2 months. She would have seen it 27 times, but got stuck at work one night. What do you think the record would be? Of course this doesn't include people who work at the theater etc....

Rock of Ages (off-Broadway) - 31 times in 13 weeks.

Next To Normal ~ 14 times at 2econd Stage; at least 9 at Arena (if I get there in time to rush the Saturday matinee it will be 10) ~ two of those double show Sundays.

Wicked Chicago. . three times in a week. . I had a lot of friends in from out-of-town. A lot of lucky-lottery friends.

I'm so sick of that show. . bring on anything else.

I remember seeing Forever Plaid 5 times during its limited run in Houston at the Alley Theatre.

I saw Xanadu 3 times in 4 days. That is the best I can do. :)

I saw all eight performances of the non-eq Rent tour one week, and six performances of Altar Boyz another week.

There was one week I saw all 8 performances of Chicago.

Im not proud.

Granted, two of my very good friends were playing opposite each other for one week only but still... even *I* know that's excessive.

In The Heights 2 times in 3 days. Soon it will be 2 twice in one day.

Rent 3 times in 5 days.

Hmmm... I'm not that big a revisiter of shows, but I did just see Hamlet three times between 17th December and 8th January. That's probably my personal best. I'd've totally seen it more had it not closed. ;_;

'The Rink' ran in London in 1988 for just 47 perfs- i saw 39 of them!
'Follies' ran in London in 1987 for 18 months and i saw almost every Wednesday matinee thru the run and about 20 evening peformances.

I don't understand how those people could see Rent every single night just so they could "hang out" with the cast afterwards at the stagedoor. I've seen the show dozens of times, but that frequency is mind-numbing.

The most I've ever done is five times seeing the six-week tour stop of A Chorus Line in LA.

Spring Awakening holds most times PERIOD for me. 14 times (15th this Sunday) in two years.

August: Osage County 7 times in two months is most times in a short period.

Same, and agreed. And, really, Rent (if you actually like it, of course) lends itself to that sort of thing more than most shows. And still it's numbing.
