What shows/performers/nominees are you most surprised at and frustrated by their Tony snubs this year?

Boop - Original score. It deserved a nom.

Which of the nominated scores would you remove?

My least favorite of the five is 'Death Becomes Her' but I've said it before there are certain situations when adding an extra nomination is needed. This has been a great season for musicals, IMO. We all know and realize as the season goes alone if it's great or not. Yes, I know the outcome can change if more are added but why not take a chance and see if it works.

David Thaxton was robbed of a nomination.

I agree with that but I also want a fan of Boop's score either.

Dead Outlaw and Operation Mincemeat both had better score and book than MHE, by a mile. Jaime Lloyd should e won the direction.

John Proctor not winning anything is abomination, but the word out mouth works better for them than any other play.
Still bummed that Pirates didn't get noms for its actors and choreography.

I agree about the choreography. The three leading men could easily have been nominated in a less crowded season, but I can see how they fell through the cracks this year.
Pirates! is great fun. The revisions don't add all that much but they don't take much away from it either.

Dead Outlaw was robbed. But in general, I feel it’s being overlooked. I think this property is going to be extremely popular in regional theaters for a long time, maybe that is when it’ll hit its gold rush.
