What the hell is going on with this Florence Foster Jenkins pop up commercial!?

For the past two days, every time I sign on here, that Foster Jenkins commercial pops up every time I click on anything new. I love me some Meryl, but this is totally annoying. Anyone else getting bombarded by Florence?

I'm getting pop up ads on every page, too. Mine are for a San Francisco Symphony gala... Every. Single. Page.

I'm about to delete the app. The pop-ups are annoying as hell and they only happen on BWW so I'm not installing a blocker.

It really is. I feel like this happened before (Book of Mormon commercial maybe?) and the powers that be fixed it quickly. Hopefully they'll rescue us again!

Yeah, I think it was BOM, and hopefully this one is also a mistake that will be fixed quickly.

Not fixed yet. I've been here less than a minute and the ad popped up 7 times already. Ugh.

Hasn't stopped here. I think I have been transferred to Fandango enough times in the past two days to have bought out at least one full showing of the film.

I haven't had the pop up either.  However, I saw the movie, Tuesday.  The Other One, I never saw the trailers, but the movie is not cutesy.  It is at times quite serious and sad.  There are some scenes that I would call filler, though.  And I had trouble with some historical accuracy towards the last twenty minutes.  But overall  its a  good film.  Hugh Grant is quite good in it, as well as Simon Helberg (Big Bang Theory).

Yes, the mobile app has been virtually unusable for several days because this video ad pops up over and over and over, and is often followed by a regular pop up ad (not a video) as well

Having seen the movie this afternoon, my guess is "desperation."  It is a well crafted, well acted, terribly predictable piece of fluff. Streep will get another Oscar nom for it, but I couldn't wait for it to be over.

I thought it was a lovely film.  Meryl Streep and Simon Helberg are both wonderful and both deserve nominations for their fantastic performances.  I wasn't a huge fan of Hugh Grant's character and I think that a more charasmatic actor may have sold the part more, but I enjoyed the film.  There were things that didn't need to be in the film.  There was a lot of fluff that sometimes would derail the plot at times, but it is truly a delightful film, even if it does seem a bit long.
