I know nothing has been officially announced for Dreamgirls...yet. Though if it is going to be taking the Neil Simon Theatre, Sheryl Lee Ralph might've given us some exclusive information during her live feed on Instagram.

If anybody wants to express their love of a show or how upset they are that a show's closing, go to the closing announcement page. This thread is for the promise of the future, and I think it's a very nice type of thread.

Other people have posted "too soon" on threads like this, and no one calls them out. I do it, and I get attacked. I repeat, what do you people have against me?
"
I didn't mean that directly at you, I just meant in general for the "too soon" commenters. I have nothing against you, and I didn't mean to make you feel attacked either, I do apologize for that.

There are plenty of people, here on these boards who claim Angels goes into the Neil Simon.

Since when is Angels not going into a Jujamcyn? I always was hearing it'd be either the Kerr, Wilson, or Hirschfeld.

The producers to Rebecca lost the rights. Unless another producer wants to take that on (and VBW, the Austrian production company that originally presented it in Vienna, might not let them), it's not happening.
Rebecca and Dance of the Vampires were both VBW productions and I can see them being very skittish about allowing another producer to take a crack at it. It's one of many reasons the Austrian musical Elisabeth will never get an English language production (along with it being waaay too similar structurally to Evita). I'm sure if the rumored transfer of Schikaneder (Stephen Schwartz's new musical about the librettist of The Magic Flute and his wife) happens, they will be sure that nothing too major is changed.

My husband and I play the lottery every weekend and we often joke about what we'd do as millionaires.

My money is on Carousel. The specs seems too large for Mean Girls, but what do I know?

Jeffrey, I know getting an exclusive would be a wet dream for you, but that's not what's happening.
