Inspired by CapnHook's post, what Broadway theatre have you seen the MOST shows in?
And it doesnt count if you saw RENT or WICKED 17 times. Thats still one show.
For me, its STUDIO 54.
The People in the Picture, Brief Encounter, Waiting for Godot, Pal Joey, Sunday in the Park with George, The Ritz, The Apple Tree, and Cabaret.
Interesting... CABARET was my 1st Bwy Show (June, 2000), and PEOPLE IN THE PICTURE was my last (yesterday)
The Hirschfeld: Curtains, Hair, Elf, How to Succeed.

Palace for Legally Blonde, West Side Story, and Priscilla.
Surprisngly, the Foxwoods. The Pirate Queen, Young Frankenstein, and Spiderman. All complete crap.
Without doing any homework I THINK it's what is currently known as the Foxwoods - 42nd Street, Pirate Queen, & Young Frankenstein
Even though I've kept track of the dates and original casts of each of my 337 plays and musicals since 1970, I couldn't begin to fathom how often I've been to each NY Theatre.
Any theatre historians out there with an awful lot of spare time care to contribute?

I'm not going to say RENT or WICKED but I did see HELLO, DOLLY! 74 times at the St. James.
It's a four-way tie.
Jacobs (GOD OF CARNAGE and BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON)
Helen Hayes (NEXT FALL and COLIN QUINN: LONG STORY SHORT)
Palace (BEAUTY AND THE BEAST and PRISCILLA: QUEEN OF THE DESERT)
Booth (NEXT TO NORMAL and HIGH)
Without looking to confirm, I believe that mine is the American Airlines with 13: The Pajama Game, Heartbreak House, Prelude to a Kiss, Old Acquaintance, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, The 39 Steps, Hedda Gabler, The Philanthropist, After Miss Julie, Present Laughter, Everyday Rapture, Mrs. Warren's Profession, and The Importance of Being Earnest.
I've seen four at the Al Hirschfeld (Curtains, Hair, Elf, and How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying) and the Palace (Aida, Legally Blonde, West Side Story, and Priscilla Queen of the Desert) and 3 at the Helen Hayes, Lunt-Fontanne, Marquis and St. James. I've also had a bunch of doubles.

48 at the Brooks Atkinson.
Of my 4 times to the big apple, I have seen 4 performances, 3 shows at the Eugene O'Neil (Sweeney Todd, Spring Awakening both OBC and Closing casts, and The Book of Mormon). Followed by it are two shows each at the St. James (Gypsy and American Idiot) and The Place (Lestat and Legally Blonde).
9 way tie for me:
New Amsterdam
Foxwoods
Al Hirschfeld
Neil Simon
Jacobs
Broadway
Richard Rodgers
Lunt-Fontanne
St. James
Hm, interesting thread.
The Walter Kerr- A Catered Affair and A Little Night Music
As of July, the Neil Simon will be tied (Hairspray and CMIYC).
what an interesting thread. i have a tie between the mariott marquis and the schoenfeld theaters - i've seen 9 (!!) shows in each of those theaters. my runners up had only 5 shows that i had seen in those venues...some theaters have shows open and close so quickly in them, that it's easy to up the number of times you're there for different shows, and the marquis and schoenfeld both seem to have that problem.
Tie between the St. James, Broadway, and Palace for me at 2 shows each.
Marquis: La Cages Aux Folles, Cry Baby, The Drowsy Chaperone

FOXWOODS: Ragtime, Jesus Christ Superstar revival, Young Frankenstein, Spider Man Turn Off the Dark.
I think the Barrymore; definitely in terms of times visited, and I'm almost certain in number of shows, as well, but now I'm curious so I'm inspired to go check.
Edit: It's actually the Hirschfeld/Beck and the Schoenfeld/Plymouth, both with 9 each. But it's still definitely the Barrymore for most individual performances.
3 way tie:
Lyceum (Is He Dead?, {title of show})
Imperial (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Billy Elliot)
St. James (Gypsy, American Idiot)
