In spite of Broadway.com's recent poll, which closing show are you most upset to see close?
The closing shows, tell me if I'm missing any are:
Scottsboro Boys
West Side Story
Promises Promises
In the Heights
A Little Night Music
Next to Normal
Bloody Bloody
Fela
(Even though it's a limited run) Women on the Verge
Next to Normal
Scottsboro Boys
A Little Night Music
First two are shows that have dealt with difficult topics in brilliant ways, and the third is a classic which is a fine example of what a Broadway musical should be
NEXT TO NORMAL...though 733 performances+ is nothing to shake a stick at.
Also, BLOODY BLOODY since I wanted to see it SO BAD, but the one chance I had, I lost their lotto.

Next to Normal and Scottsboro. I also REALLY wanted to see Bloody Bloody, but I'm sure it will find a bigger audience elsewhere.

Next To Normal...wish it lasted another month so I could take my daughter (Kids' Night).
A Little Night Music...along with "Ragtime," perhaps my favorite theatrical experience of 2010.

Definitely Next to Normal. I've had a lot of great experiences with that show and it means a lot to me.
And I wish Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson and The Scottsboro Boys, both were able to find their footing and had longer runs. But I'm very grateful I got to experience them both while they were on Broadway.

Quizking are u a member of TDF? BLOODY is up there almost every performance until the end of December.. If I remember correctly u said u were from Jersey, I'm sure with winterbreak coming up u can find a time to sneak in and catch it
Definitely 'Next to Normal'. Though 'In the Heights' is up there too.

@Jeffmiele No, I'm not a member of TDF. I've looking into getting one, but maybe when I'm old enough and on my own. I also am currently broke.
I have WOMEN ON THE VERGE and BLOODY BLOODY on my Christmas list (the only things)...Hopefully my Mom got/found tickets. If not, oh well.

I'm not happy to see Next to Normal go, but I'm not all that sad because it has an excellent run with two excellent casts. I am saddest to see the brilliant Scottsboro Boys close. It does not deserve the fate it is getting.
It's sad when good ones close. Besides the many people who have done such a superb job to make the shows meaningful, there are also those of us from out of town who miss the shows altogether.
In the Heights and A Little Night Music are my two, for very different reasons.
In Promises, it'll be sad seeing Sean Hayes leave broadway, but hey, maybe he can come back and either play Billy's older self or Spiderman!
I'm very upset about next to normal, but In The Heights will also be missed.

I'm bummed that I never got to see
Brief Encounter
Scotsboro Boys
Promises, Promises...
Scottsboro. Without a doubt. Such a beautiful work that not enough people got to see. THIS is the kind of work many of us yearn to see on b'way and yet when it gets here, the audience stays away.
Isn't this what happened last year: nearly nothing from the fall season surived the long haul? I'm predicting fewer and fewer shows opening in the fall until in about 10 years from now, we will only have a spring season of openings. (IMHO)
I feel extremely fortunate to have seen all the productions, but one. I'm sorry to see nearly all of them shutter. Although I feel Scottsboro and Bloody Jackson deserve longer runs, I'm heartbroken over losing Brief Encounter which I thought to be the most clever and appealing show I've seen in ages. In fact, I plan on seeing it again before it's gone.
Scottsboro, although it's far too ironic for mass audiences. A brilliant piece of work.
In The Heights and then Next To Normal
