re: Who Needs to be Back on Broadway?

I agree with Debbie Gravitte, why isn't she back on Broadway yet?
I thought Kate Winslet had done stage work in England, but I might be wrong. She should definitely do a Broadway play/musical.

Also, Tammy Grimes.

re: Who Needs to be Back on Broadway?

-Michael Arden (in something more Bare calibre as opposed to Times They Are A-Changin', please re: Who Needs to be Back on Broadway?)
-Anthony Rapp (non-RENT style, even though he clearly IS the definitive Mark. But like... what I STILL wouldn't give for him to get his butt back IN Next to Normal as Dr. Madden. No offense to Asa, who is great. I just love Anthony in the role even more)
-Jesse L Martin (WHY has he done so little else on Broadway? the man is SO brilliant!)
-Kate Winslet, for sure (okay so I don't think she's ever done Broadway specifically before, but she NEEDS to. She's incredible)
-Sara Ramirez (I adore her on Grey's, but the girl is TOO good not to be doing Broadway!)
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

re: Who Needs to be Back on Broadway?

Whoever said Idina - she has a lot going on with her albumm. She should take a little time before returning to Broadway. However, I can't wait until she returns.

John Gallagher Jr, because I love him and miss him on Broadway!

I agree with Anthony and Wilson, as long as not in Rent, but I don't know where else Wilson fits. He seems a bit like Marissa Jaret Winnokur to me...amazing in one role, but other than that...

Definatley agree with Michael Ball though.

welll, just in his defense, he hasn't ever really DONE anything else, has he? So we don't know :) I bet he could surprise a bunch of people by being able to pull off another role really well also!

not gonna lie though. I'd KILL for him to come back to be the closing Angel for RENT. Probably more than ANYONE in that whole cast, he is the one who.. just no one else will ever be Angel except him. And this is coming from someone who LOVED Justin Johnston before I became aquainted with Wilson!Angel!
