This is my opinion:

Best Musical, well, it should be Funny Girl because it's a new show with LEA and TOVAH. But out of the new ones I think it should be New York, NY or Shucked.

Best Actor in a musical: Colton Ryan.

Best Actress in a musical: LEA but if Annaleigh Ashford wins, I will be content.

Best Supporting Actor in a musical: Alex Newell.

Best Original Score: KPOP.

I think it's more so the misunderstanding of eligibility for this year. Funny Girl would not be eligible as it opened last spring.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I think Julie Andrews and Martin McDonagh should win. I mean, since we're apparently including things that would in no way be eligible, let's make this happen.

I think the Best Score should go to Hadestown because it has a better score than any new musical this year.
