Cousin Jeri is on HBO's DEADWOOD. Hey, maybe she could play Nessa.
Melanie Griffith.................I think Megan Mullally would be amazing!!!
What about Mayim Bialik? She never shirked her responsibilities to her adoring public. "Tonight...on a very special Blossom..."

I like the Amy Spanger nomination
Amy would be PERFECT, assuming she has the range of course...
Theaterbaby,
Who said anything about hating anyone? Please don't put words in my mouth. I got enough of my own.
is sylvia doing anything this season? she'd be perfect!
you all make me chuckle. kelly ripa? vomit. jessica simpson? puh-leeeze. What about Ruthie Henshall? or at least someone with Broadway in their blood. Come on, kids.
Is Rebecca Luker too old?

Lisa Brescia or Felicia Finley! They are both extremely funny and both have amazingly awesome voices! They definetly get my vote! Please G~d not Laura Bell Bundy!
Kate Reinders. *pounces* she's just awesomeness in a can :)
Nathan Lane
Rebecca Luker is not only too old, but WAY too BORING. I've just never gotten anything but "blah" from her. And trust me, I WANT to love any legit sopranos still workin it on the Broadway stage. There are so few!
Songstress,
I agree 100 % with you. She is so dull. I think if they ever paired her up with Greg Edelman in a show it would be the biggest breakthrough for those that can't sleep. The poor woman can't act. And when she tries her neck always looks like every vain is about to explode. That and she is definitely a hussy.
faith prince would be great but she's way too old.
My vote goes to Ruthie Henshall, provided that Harvey Firestein isn't too busy hiding out in that big can in front of the Neil Simon theatre. Updated On: 4/21/04 at 11:12 PM
Actually, considering that Kate Reinders will now be out of a job come June (lol get it...June) , why not! I bet she could play the role.
Or even Jennifer Cody.
BrooklynsChild: agree w/ you completely! Lisa Brescia would be prefect in the role. Is she young enough? i saw her in AIDA last week - her picture looks older than she reads on stage and i was front row so im sure if she looked old to anyone in the theatre it would be me!

That's partially where my mind was... when saying that. Not to mention she's an incredibly talented woman. She's gonna amount to something, I have my money on it. Wicked would be a great career move for her, if given the opportunity. Not to mention that she's absolutly delicious :) *g*
I vote for Elaine Stritch - she's give it that fresh feeling that its been missing....
