The original set revolved (the chicago one didn't) and had various set pieces. The revolving was really cool because when they we're doing "The Next Ten Minutes," they were in a little boat and it looked like they were rowing around.

And it is dream roles. I'm saying if they both HAD to be replaced.

And I think Kerry Butlet would play a great Cathy.

I was thinking about Kerry Butler and I'm unsure about it. She's used to playing very cutesy characters or very vulnerable characters. Cathy is a difficult character because she is strong and hopeful with a very subtle vulnerability.

I'd love to see Lauren Kennedy and I think Billy Porter would make for an interesting Jamie. Kerry Butler and Eden Espinosa would be fun to see too.

I'm totally up for colorblind casting but I just can't see him doing "Shiksa Goddess". Anyway, the tessitura of Jamie's music lies a little low for Billy.

Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith could add the title of Tony Winners to their names if they did this one together on Broadway. Hmmmmm, if only there was more money in the world.....

As Cathy...I honestly can only imagine Sherie Rene Scott in this role.

I love the idea of Celia Keenan-Bolger as Cathy. Not so sure about some of the names for Jamie. I can't see Anthony Rapp for some reason.

I would love to see some nontraditional/colorblind casting.
Basically, I'd want to see Lea Salonga as Cathy.

Sarah Ramirez might do something cool with it. BTW, I'm now a fan of hers!!!!!!

Nobody has thrown out the name Eden?????? I know she is quite the belter......

I really can't see Idina in the role at all. As for Michelle F, I really don't know.

Sara Ramirez would be amazing. She does really well with JRB's material. Have you heard her sing "I Will Follow?" Shoo-dang! Girl has some kickin' pipes. She can really sell a song too. She's great.

I'm also loving the idea of Celia Keenan-Bolger or Michelle Federer.

i wish that i could see sherie and norbert. right now im listening to a few songs that i downloaded and just bought the OCR online and cant wait for that to come!
