"So quit with the attitude before we start a second korean war."
wow... You want some brownie points because of your awesome burn? Do you think I'm insulted by that?

"Being nasty to me because i dont know as much about wicked as you do is not a good way to contribute to this discussion board."
Because you know SO much more about this discussion board than I do... after your full one day on the boards.

I guess I'll have to welcome another Wicked fanatic... with a bww.com name having to do with Wicked, but knows absolutely nothing about the show.

Okay... whatever

re: Who do you think would make a good elphaba?

Ok look, I am going to be the mature one here and just ignore korea and all her bs. Excuse me but I had no idea you had to be a wicked expert to have a BWW name such as mine. I hope she knows a lot about korea and maybe even communisim to have a bww name.

re: Who do you think would make a good elphaba?

First of all, I am not communist... if I was North Korean, do you really think I could be on the bww.com boards? This is so ridiculous that you're so low as to be racist in order to insult me. Is that how you are being the "mature one"?

I usually get along with everyone on these boards, but I guess everyone has to have someone they disagree with.

Um..excuse me. I am definately not racist. I just broke up with my bf of 2 months who is black so no need to pull out the race card on this board. There are so many things i would like to say to you but i dont want to get kicked off this board.

re: Who do you think would make a good elphaba?

korenglish can pull the race card because you called her communist for being "korea"...

She is too nice to say this, but I think you are a b**** and you are rude to someone who has the respect of many on this board. You need to leave, and learn more about history.

"I'm just amazed how much she's shot her mouth off regarding this. I thought she blew in the role, personally. Harsh voice. Too many "tricks". Horrible actress."

I completely agree. She was lucky to be given that role, and it probably made her way more known than anything else she would have attempted herself. Unfortunately now she's known as a bad actress and equally bad singer, and I doubt Broadway would ever want her back. Good riddance to her!

You need to get off this board. I wouldn't mid if you jsut asked a Wicked question but don't ever insult anyone here, especailly for their origins.

re: Who do you think would make a good elphaba?

oh whatever, i am not going to leave this board. That nasty girl started the whole thing with her nasty attitude. If she wants to play the race card thats her business. I am and always will be a wicked fan and no one on this board will bring me down!

re: Who do you think would make a good elphaba?

How about Sara Gilbert from the hit tv show Roseanne in the role of
Elphaba for the film version of wicked? She would be amazing cause she really looks the role. She might need singing lessons or something but I believe she can really pull it off.

re: Who do you think would make a good elphaba?

"wait, if wicked is on tour does anyone know if its going to come to a theater in New Jersey or Pennsylvania?"

Well I know it's going to be Pittsburgh sometime this season...

But in response to the original post...

I think Michael Cerveris would make a kickass Elphaba!

But apparently he's become Sondheim's golden boy now, so no, I don't think he'd do it. So I'll go with my number 1 foolproof answer for "Who do you think would make a good blahblahblah?"

*points to avatar*

Denis O'Hare!

Or, if the role isn't bumbling and socially inept enough for him, we could go with James Barbour. I mean, think about it.

Galinda: We're gonna make you pop-u-U-U-u-U-lar!!
James as Elphaba: *smoldering glare*
Teenage Wicked fans: *die*

And then we would be rid of them all! How convienent!

Hey, while we're at it, why don't we just cast the entire cast of the revival of Assassins as Elphaba?

That's what I would do if I were the casting director.

Which is why I'm not the casting director.
