Mayumi Ando sent me an autographed headshot once, and Tracie Thoms wrote me back and sent me an autographed headshot last summer, and Idina Menzel autographed my Wicked playbill a few years ago when I sent it to her.

I have only written a couple of people. After seeing Emily Skinner in The Dead, I wrote her and she wrote back a three page letter. We ended up writing back and forth a couple times- she even sent me a postcard with her picture of the front. She was incredibly nice! I also got a really nice not from Sutton Foster and e-mails from Joe Machota and Tina Maddigan when they were in Mamma Mia!
I haven't sent anything out by mail, but I have written a few e-mails. The only person that has replied was Jesse Tyler Ferguson, saying that he was glad I enjoyed his performance in Spelling Bee.

Because I don't feel like bumping up another thread I'll post here...
Does anyone know how to send fanmail to theatres in Las Vegas or know any theatre addresses there?

I have a question. The playbills thay you all have signed, did you have to send them or did the performer just send you a signed playbill?

I went to see The Wedding Singer and got all 3 of Stephen Lynch`s CDs signed! and wrote things like for his CD "A Little Bit Special" he said "Wesley you are very "pecial" Stepen Lynch" for "Superhero" he said "D&D rulz!!! Stephen Lynch" The in "The Craig Machine" There`s this little thing on the inside that has "You`re a ****ing asshole" written on a cake and he signed his name under it!
From my first trip to NYC we were supposed to see The Producers matinee and we accidently slept through it. So I bought a Program from the BroadwayNewYork store in the Marquis of the LA cast of The Producers. So we were passing The St.James and we knew Gary Beach was in there so we asked if we could meet him and they let us in (This was about.....2 hours before the 8:00 show) and took us to his dressing room and he was EXTREMLY nice and signed a picture of him in the dress and the temple hat thing and it said "To Wesley,Best Wishes Gary Beach"
I almost got to go bacstage to meet Tim Curry at Spamalot like 3 hours before the show but they went in there and came back and said he was asleep due to the busy scheduel......ye right!
Lea Salonga and it was a magnificent B&W 8 x 10 with a nice dedication and signature. Wow, her picture looked like it was taken by Herb Ritts.
Kevo711, i sent a letter to the theatres and asked them if they could pass it on to the whole cast. you could also ask them to get a cast member of your choice to sign it instead of the whole company. when i requested for WICKED, i asked if they could get Eden and Jenna to sign it for me and they were happy to. so you can do the whole pack or some certain people of your choice

if you can give me the name of the show and the theatre name I may be able to get the address.
I have gotten stuff back from John Lloyd Yound and Christian Hoff.

The more I read this board, the more I am "amazed" (popular word here) that people using the internet to access this board can't figure out how to find out the address of a theatre. And I'm even more "amazed" to realize that there are people who think that performers in the theatre (no, they're not all stars!) are sitting around in their dressing room or their homes signing Playbills in case someone wants one. If you want something like a Playbill signed, YOU send it to them.
Thats what I do is send them the sruff, you are more likely to get it back if you send it to them, it saves them of having to find the stuff and autogrpah it.

I'm sure the performers who send you autographs would love to hear them referred to as "stuff."
LOl I am still not awake yet
I've only written to Howard McGillin and he sent back a little note on Phantom stationary about how grateful he was for my letter and some advice on performing. He also sent a signed headshot :)
I've gotten back emails though but the one that stands out is the one I got back from Don Scardino, the director of Lennon.
Has anyone got anything back from christain hoff and John lloyd young from jersey boys? or did anyone get daniel Rechared an other jersey boy??? i am mailing out 3 letters whose are the ones i want? i got a e-mail back from J. Robert Spencer. i asked them for autographes!!!!! i who they send me 1????.....Nicole
I have gotten autographs back from JLY and Christian, I have talked to Daniel on e-mail and ask him if he and Bobby could send me autographs and he said to send him a SASE and they would send me autographeds.
You said you talked to bobby? if you talked to bobby you should send him a e-mail and tell him that the letters are on the way, that way he know they are coming,if you do send letters, if I were you i would wait till after the tonys.
The only person I have ever contacted was Stephanie J. Block and she sent me back an autographed photo. I chicken out every time I try to write a performer. I just feel silly.
It's not very hard to write a actor, they are just people. I think you should give it a try. I have gotten to know a actor pretty well, that I talk to him like he is my brother.
ben magnusson from Sweeney he sent me a playbill signed by the cast and a personalized signed headshot thanking me for "attending the tale".
Letter and cast-signed Playbill from Carolee while she was in Mamma Mia.
Sarah Saltzberg sent me two photos [one headshot, once of her as Logainne], a signed "Can you please use that in a sentence?" t-shirt, and a two-page letter after I set up a website for her.
I got a long letter and a headshot from Lauren Molina recently.
I'm still waiting on Sutton. It's going on three months since I sent her the SASE/letter, how long does she usually take to respond?
