my favorite fiyero was Kris Cusick, but for the principle fiyeros on broadway:

Posted: 8/11/05 at 10:53amThis is a tough one. Norbert was great in the role, the only thing is that I think he looked a little too old for the role, as did Kristin and Idina. The current cast is more true to the book in age. Norbert is definately the best Fiyero, hands down. David puts on a good show, but he can get pitchy, he plays the character very cornily, whereas Norbert made fun of the character while being the character. Get it? I didn't get to see Joey McIntre but I heard he was awful. www.wickedonbroadway.net go to the jan 2nd experience.

Posted: 8/11/05 at 10:54amDavid is more true to the book in appearance. He looks the part and little more than norbert. I really do enjoy his performance though I can see why people don't. I've seen him twice and he was fine both times.

i agree with most of the people that norbert has an amazing voice but was too old for the part of a college-aged heart throb, and i thought both joey and david were pretty good.
*anad the book doesnt say fiyero is black, it says he's some weird color like purple or green with dots on his head. so none of the boys have an advantage on that*

I was not a fan of Jerad's portrayal of Fiyero. While he had a pretty good voice, his acting was weak-and I didn't believe that he was in love with Glinda or Elphaba.
I thought David did well with the part...it's a very small part, you can't do a whole lot with it.
Joey made it a main part. I don't like his voice, but he did well acting.

Posted: 8/11/05 at 1:47pmI saw taye and although he looks the part he definitely had some trouble singing it. It was too high for him and that was very apparent. I would have to say hands down that Norbert definitely sings it the best but he does not have the right look. They really needed a Mathew Morisson type for perfect casting. Fiyero is very similar to Link if you think about it. "Self-centered, handsome boy has pretty girl but falls for the atypical hero"

just had to put in my two cents...
i think Norbert was most def. the best fiyero in wicked. even though hes a little older, he has the best voice of all of them, and hes the best actor. hes just been around longer, so he knows what hes doing.
when i saw the show again about a week ago, i'm not sure who it was...but whoever i saw, he wasn't the best. made me wish Norbert didn't move on to bigger and better things.

Norbert was great.
Joey wasn't that bad...actually pretty good.
Haven't seen David yet.
I still think Adam Pascal would be a phenomenal Fiyero.

I liked Joey.
That said, I've only seen Joey, so it's a bit biased.
I can't really compare Norbert to Joey to David seeing as I've only seen one of them... but I will be able to compare Joey to David when I see it on the 18th! lol

i'm assuming norbert (although i missed him) but i actually liked joey mac...it might have been the NKOTB thing, but i thought he played the part relativley well.
i'm not a david ayers fan...adorable and sweet, but my least favorite on stage.
