You realize that Bette turned down Sister Act which gave Whoopi two movies? I don't think sharing the stage is a possibility.

But if Bette hosted with Bruce Vilanch writing it might fly.

I love Whoopi, but she sucked at hosting the Tonys IMO.

I am sorry. But Chris Rock would be a awful choice. I would be thrilled wit the Whoopi and Bette combo. They both have shows up and if Bruce Villanch wrote for them it would be fab.

I don't think much could top Whoopi's costume changes at the Oscar's that year...she didn't even have to open her mouth when she came out dressed in gold as that Victorian queen or whatever it was.

I think Matt Morrison would be a good choice because he's the living example of what Broadway has to offer. Solid singer, dancer, actor who made big. Everyone seemed to enjoy his Gypsy number on the Tony's.

I just saw a commercial for Poise Pads where Whoopi admitted her "secret" that sometimes she leaks (i.e. pees her pants). I will never be able to look at her again without wondering if she has wet herself or if she is wearing her Poise Pads to avoid moistness in her panties.
