I actually think the scenes between Chase and Jbara will be very passionate.

Huge fan of Will. I think he'll be absolutely terrific in the role
I thought he was fantastic in "The Story of My Life." Great actor, great voice. I just don't think he's had a chance to showcase it because of his looks/voice type.

I think Santino was wasted in that role...he has the most BEAUTIFUL voice and I hated not being able to hear it.
Great news!!!

I saw Billy a few weeks ago, and there was an understudy on for Tony. Not only did he look older than Chase, but he was also balding. Beyond the intial confusion of what was going on with that, he was fairly believable in the role. From the audience, Chase will look fine.
Tony is an awfully thankless role. But who would pass up a role in a hit?
YAY!! I think he'll be wonderful.
Why do they keep putting people with amazing voices into a pretty much non singing role? Does anyone else think they are wasting these people?
AnaAllThatJazz, wasn't Jennifer Damiano only 15 when she was in Spring Awakening? Just saying...
And although I love Will, but as Billy's brother? Yeah, can't see it working too well.
What are all of you literalists doing following the theatre?

Age doesn't matter? Tell that to the posters who almost commited mass lemming suicide after Catherine Zeta-Jones was tapped to play Mama Rose in the Gypsy film.
"Catherine Zeta-Jones was tapped to play Mama Rose in the Gypsy film."
Well Arthur banned her from the role immediately, lol.
Yes, well a post-menopausal Rose with a four year old daughter is much more believable.
I am so happy for Will!

Ha ha ha! Best comment of the day :P
Isn't Haydn Gwynne leaving anytime as well?

Good for him.. too bad he's in the most underdeveloped and least entertaining role in the show.
Hopefully, he can make more of the role than Santino did.
Who is taking over Gwynne?

I believe Kate Hennig.
Right! She's the most amazing actress.
I am over from London and saw Billy this afternoon, the current Tony is hideous, does not remind me of a miner, very clean cut. Change would be welcome.
What a thankless part but the boy must be tired of starring in flops.
Good for him. I'm glad Will is coming back to Broadway in a successful show.
