Regionally? West End? Oz? Russia? I hear they're still counting the receipts from the Broadway production.
To bad HBO did not tape it for broadcast.
I heard the show may tour with Alexander. But that was a few months ago and I haven't heard much lately.

While this show did extremely well, it mostly did initially because of Larry David. Jason Alexander also sold some tickets too though. But Larry David has gone on the record saying he will never do the show again, and if Jason Alexander doesn't perform i can't seeing it being a mega hit in those places. I saw the show with David and overall enjoyed it due to his presence, but it really isn't one of his strongest writings. Curb and Seinfeld were reliably hilarious while this kind of fell flat for me. Not horrible though, just missing a little something.
I thought it was a great show because of Jason Alexander and Rosie Perez If it wasn't for them, not sure I would have enjoyed it as much. I think it would need a big name in the lead to draw attention.

Thinking back, the amount of tickets sold by Larry David was unbelievable. I don't believe anyone expected him to be the massive draw he was.
The show could survive touring with Alexander. Can't see the show playing without him or David.
Bernie Sanders will be looking for work in a few months.
What about Nathan Lane doing it on Broadway?

Nathan Lane can make any show a hit.
My thoughts exactly. It should have been done after David left.

Great point Mr. Roxy. Nathan Lane could likely make the show work.
Surprised it's not popping up regionally. But then again, it's not a great piece of theater. I only saw Act 2 and that was plenty of me. The direction was super clunky.
It is surprising about must see shows. This was one of them.We did not see it and somehow life went on for us. There are some this season and there will be in every season. If you do not see something everyone says you have to see and you do not see it somehow you survive. This is not about any particular show but shows in general
Can you think of any show that you really wanted to see and did not and how it affected you? Just curious

I love you.
Was this ever a "must see" show? It sold quickly for Larry's run because of his fans, but it hardly set the theatrical world on fire with hype or acclaim, and it looks unlikely to ever resurface in a significant way.
People were paying obscene prices at the time for tickets. Now these prices seem downright cheap compared to other shows.Let us say it was a semi must see. It was a hard ticket and could have easily gone on a few more months with David in it.
