If Jojo wants to pivot to theatre, this could be a great opportunity for a high-profile project considering the title and the presence of Cyndi and Ashley –– if she can stick with it and not get burned out by the process of workshopping and going out of town.

But reading casts can also mean nothing, or can be a way to "audition" a high-profile person for a part. She and the team could decide tomorrow that this isn't the right fit. Or she could say "I want in."

Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer in the Sigourney Weaver role is really the most exciting casting here for me.

Jojo is on this week's Las Culturistas episode and really seems to love doing musical theatre and the consistency of the Broadway schedule. So maybe she'll go all the way with this one!

Confirmed to be debuting a year from now as part of La Jolla's 25-26 season.

I was at MSG last night and really enjoyed the show.  She did confirm that Working Girl is heading to LaJolla and then to Broadway.

November/December is a great time of year to visit Southern California.  I liked that parking on campus at UC San Diego was included with your tickets to La Jolla Playhouse.   Otherwise parking everywhere down there gets pricey.  I know lots of people love San Diego, but 3 nights there this year felt like too much when there is so much more to do up in L.A.
