I like the idea of putting Faith Prince as Dolly and Rebecca Luker as Irene Molloy
What about MEGAN MULLALY as Dolly now that would be truly something to see she would be perfect for the role. It was made for her.

Michelle Lee is doing the role this summer in Kansas City at Starlight Theatre. Probably taking it to Dallas and Atlanta too.
Personally, I think Bette Midler would be fantastic if this gets the B'way revival.
I saw Channing in the original. Would like to have seen Pearl Bailey and Mary Martin. Their cast recordings (Bailey's new B'way and Martin's London are my two favorites.
The one I regret missing was the final B'way Dolly -- Ethel Merman. had a chance and turned it down to see something else.
The late Madelyn Kahn played Dolly in summer stock about 10 years ago. She was really good.
