I have answered this before. Last night's Playbill from the Legally Blonde closing has to be added. It has almost everyone's name on it. You can't even read most of them since they are overlapping each other.
Don't believe everything that you hear! Only the peeps involved know the truth!
I love these Playbills that I've recently added to my collection: - A Behanding In Spokane (signed by OBC and McDonagh) - Waiting For Godot (not a Playbill but the London program signed by Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen) - Ragtime (signed by leads of the revival cast) - The Pride (signed by Whishaw, Dancy and Riseborough)
-Waiting for the Moon: World Premiere Lenape Valley PAC - Signed by Frank Wildhorn -A Tale of Two Cities Opening Night -A Tale of Two Cities Preview signed by James Barbour, Natalie Toro & Brandi Burkhardt -Gone with the Wind 2008 London Megaflop signed by Jill Paice (Programme) -WONDERLAND: Alice's New Musical Adventure World Premiere TBPAC -WONDERLAND: Alice's New Musical Adventure Premiere Alley Theatre
I had a rather large collection of signed playbills but I've given most of them away to charities so they could auction them off. I did keep a handful of old ones, unsigned, that I just couldn't part with. These are all original Broadway casts: Sweet Bird of Youth, A Moon for the Misbegotten, 1776, Mame, Follies, Chicago, 42nd Street, others I'm not thinking of right now because I'm at work.
My favorite recent addition is signed by the entire original cast of Billy Elliot. Including all 3 Billys, 2 Michaels, and all the ballet girls!

While it is not strictly a Playbill, my most prized program is for Ethel Merman at Carnegie Hall, her last public appearance in NYC. The Hall was beside itself with adoration, with thunderous applause and cheers. I got Merman to sign her autograph on the title page, also getting Jule Styne's autograph on the same page. I have a very rare LP record of the concert--Ethel sounds great.
Bare (Off-Broadway) Hair (Signed by New Cast) High Fidelity (Opening Night) Next To Normal (Signed by OBC) Rent (Closing Night) Rent (10 Years Signed by Full Cast) Spring Awakening (Signed by OBC) Spring Awakening Tour (Signed by Full Cast & All Musicians)
My favorite playbill would have to be my NEXT TO NORMAL playbill signed by all six members of the original cast (Alice Ripley, J. Robert Spencer, Aaron Tveit, Jennifer Damiano, Adam Chanler-Berat and Louis Hobson) from when I saw it during previews on Broadway. I know it's not rare or anything, but the memories I have of that performance and meeting all six of them at the stage door are very special to me, and I love remembering them when I look at that playbill.
-Les Miserables last performance (of the original show) -Tale of Two Cities (signed by all but two of the character actors) -Tony awards 2009 -Dirty Rotten Scoundrels playbill signed by the whole cast that Jeffrey Lane gave me
I'm sure I have more prized ones but can't think of them right now.
<--- the set of A Midsummer Night's Dream that I was assistant stage manager for during the 2007 season at the STNJ outdoor stage.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree. ~Dirty Rotten Scoundrels~
There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel. ~Curtains~
It is a far, far better thing I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest I go to, than I have ever known. ~A Tale of Two Cities ~
my OBC revival A Chorus Line signed playbill(minus Natalie Cortez who was out).
