bjh2114, I should clarify that I do think the Puerto Rican affect should be there, I felt that Natalie's doesn't seem authentic to me (and to be clear, I'm half Puerto Rican).
Oh, and general Wicked note...I think most of the casting for that show for the two years on Broadway has been a series of major miscastings in some pivotal roles. Thankfully that show can run on autopilot now. But it's certainly not just the Elphies bringing the show down.
I suppose I know what you mean everythingtaboo. I feel like she had a very strong sense for the character and is very comfortable in the character, though it was forced at times. Like the opening I feel she forced a tad, but I thought her dialogue leading up to "What I Did For Love" was brilliant. She did at times overdo it a bit though.
